Did anyone see them on this morning?? I missed It I think!!
So fill me in!! (Please :))

The segment just ended up 20 minutes ago. Aaron, Helene and Brooke were all on the show. Brooke was separated from the others in a downstairs room.

Aaron and Helene are still dating, won't say when they will be getting married, only that it will probably be a long engagement. Helene is staying in New Jersey and won't move to be closer to Aaron. She is trying to convince him to move to be with her, although she realizes that is not possible.

Aaron teared up watching both Brooke's breakdown in the limo and also when he proposed to Helene. I personally thought Helene came off as standoffish, maybe it was just me. Aaron had his arm around Helene and caressed her shoulders while he talked to Diane Sawyer.

Brooke told Charlie that she still loved Aaron and thought it was her young age that made him break it off with her. She took her ear plug out and didn't watch the monitor when the clips of her in the limo and of Aaron proposing to Helene were shown.

At the end, Diane asked Brooke if she wanted to come up to the main studio and join Helene and Aaron. She said yes, that she wanted to congratulate them. She was very sweet and gracious to them. Aaron had tears in his eyes.

Pam

Aaron said that it has put something of a strain on the relationship watching the show, but that everything was fine. They also said that they haven't been able to see each other for these 2 1/2 months since the proposal and Brooke said that she wasn't allowed to date (but she didn't want to anyway) so as not to give away the final choice. Aaron and Helene have been communicating by phone.

I don't think (could be wrong) that Brooke said she still loved Aaron...she was asked, but I think she wouldn't say it, but did say that he would always be very special to her.

When Brooke joined Helene and Aaron, she gave Helene a big hug, and Aaron too, but his seemed to end abruptly.

I agree that Helene seemed a little standoffish.

I think Pam and Mare summed it up quite well. I thought Brooke handled herself very well. Her heart was broken, it was obvious.

I knew that Helene had been engaged before but I didn't realize that it only ended this year. She did seem standoff-ish and she didn't seem like she was keen on moving.

If I were her, Id definitely be wondering about why the heck it was SO hard to chose and then it was SO easy to propose. I know he told Gwen he was falling in love but still, those moments with Brooke--well, he seemed torn and like he cared for her an awful lot. That didn't make much sense to me.
I think they need more time and more dates for the last 3 girls.:teeth: More, more! I'm tuning in next Wednesday...there's gotta be more! LOL

Thanks guys for the update!! I got the feeling that He was more in love with Helene then she was with him, I think she just wanted to win!!
I wonder if he will regret not picking the girl who seemed to adore him.

Interestingly enough I was talking to my next door neighbors last night and they were talking about the Bachelor. He said that two or three days ago he was listening to a Sports Talk radio show when an Alabama fan called in. The caller said that a least around the University of Alabama they all knew it was'nt going to be Brooke he chose because she was already dating the University of Alabama's quarterback. I don't know if it's true but I thought it was pretty interesting given the outcome of the show.

I missed it so thanks for the update on GMA!

I think Gwen and Brooke were very genuine but I never felt that way about Helene. I CAN'T believe she is not willing to move! His parents specifically asked her that and she said something about as long as there were schools around there, as a joke. I'm going to miss this show on Wednesday's, although, my husband is thrilled it's over! LOL

This a.m. she said it had been hard because she wasn't allowed to date anyone (& didn't want to yet) because it would spoil the show. She might have been lying about it but I sure didn't get that impression from her interview.

Tnkrbell - I think you are right . . .Personally, I think Helene was just in it to win the game . . .when Aaron proposed last night he was saying how much he was in love with her . . .she never said "love ya too" she just said . . ."I feel the same way" I thought Brooke was a slight too young for him . . .and I really didn't like Helene at all . . .her laugh was totally annoying.

I think Aaron did say they had met once since the show and the rest was on the phone.

I know one thing I wont miss is Helene's laugh. UGhhhhh it was probably a nervous reaction but it was sooooo annoying.

Brooke hasnt been dating....her being with the football QB was some sort of duty she had to do for something she's involved with like a sorority or something.

If I had to guess I'd say Helene will finish out the school year where she is and then decide if she wants the huge commitment of moving. Give it 8 months and I'd bet Aaron and Helene wont still be together and he'll go looking for some of the other girls from the show.

I didn't really watch the show, but DH did, and I saw last night's episode and most the segment on GMA. I'd understand completely if part of the reason Helene was being kind of standoffish (is that a word? :)) is because she had to watch him with Brooke last night on TV. I'm sure it was pretty bad on all the most recent episodes. You don't want someone you really care about hanging all over another woman the way he was. I know it was the setup of the show, but it was just icky. I would have wanted to slap him when I had to watch the show. She may have been completely devoted up until now, but this will probably take a while for her to get over.

Aaron also said that "it's been hard" being separated for the past 2 1/2 months, but yet they both said they want a long distance relationship for now. Hmmm...

Buckalew, I think the reason why it was so hard to choose, yet so easy to propose is because the producers MADE him be conflicted about Brooke vs. Helene. I think he knew all along he was going to pick Helene (remember him admitting to Gwen that he was in love with someone else?). However, in order to fill a 2-hour show, he had to appear conflicted.

I really do think that he cared about Brooke a lot. She showed a tremendous amount of class on GMA this morning. Last year Trista refused to come up to see Alex and Amanda. Even though Brooke's heart was broken, she found it in herself to wish them luck in person. I hope she finds someone special soon.

WishUponAStar, I agree with you. When he said "I Love You" all Helene said was "I think you know how I feel about you". I also caught the clip from the first show when Helene was saying "I'm in this GAME to win". I just don't trust her.

I didn't get to see it last night so I wondered who it was that he chose. WOW!!

I'm sorry that I missed seeing them on "GMA", this morning - thanks for the updates! I really didn't mean to get hooked on that horrible, sadistic show......but DH and I just kept happening across it, while changing channels, and managed to get hooked on it! We could barely watch Brooke being driven away in the limousine, last night - that was so heart breaking. I just had a feeling that he was going to pick Helene....she knew how to "play" him from the start. She was constantly flirting with him and never letting him really know if she was truly interested in him. I think that he viewed that as a "challenge" (as jerky men like him tend to do) and that made him "try harder" with her than with Brooke or Gwen or the other women who made their feelings about him clearer to him. I also think that he seemed more attracted to her than to the other women, when they showed their "one on one dates" - it made me sick when he said "when I saw her looking more beautiful than ever, I knew that I made the right choice".....oh yeah, THAT'S really something to base spending the rest of your life with someone on! And we definitely noticed that she didn't say "I love you, too" after he proposed. I doubt that they are going to get married....or that she will move to Missouri. I have a feeling that she will demand that he move to NJ, he will refuse, and that will be that. Brooke was right when she said "I deserve so much better than this" - I'm sure that she will find someone worthy of her thoughtfulness and sensitivity.
