The Bachelor - An Officer and a Gentlemen

I really felt bad for Bevin. I did notice she said she adored him a lot, but I think she was just scared because he was dating two women. I often wondered if Andy was too into trying to get Tessa to open up to him. I felt that she was a challenge to him and that's why he kept her around.

I just checked on ABC.com.

It shows The Bachelor on before DWTStars.

should be interesting!:happytv:

I kind of got the impression that Bevin knew last night before she got there. Maybe just a gut feeling but I think she had a pretty good idea.

Same time as Veronica mars series ending. I guess I won't be watching it (I DVR VR so I can watch it again and catch what I missed the 1st time.) ;)

I guess I will have to read here to find out what happened. There is always commercial breaks.

I am in the minority but I just didn't like Tessa that much for Andy. There never seemed to be the same chemistry between them as between him and Bevin. He even told his Grandfather that he felt "electric" around Bevin and not Tessa. That alone says something. Would you want to be Tessa and watch this show to see Andy tell his family he felt more electricity with Bevin than her?

What about Andy telling Bevin he loved her? I thought that was terrible thing to do if he really wasn't in love with her. He should not have said anything, or said something like "I really care so much for you". Not "I love you too Bev". That was wrong in my book.

Something about Tessa made me think she was forcing things, forcing her feelings. I don't know. There are so many dynamics we never see, only watching snipets of their time together. If they end up happily married then all is well.

I think Bevin should be the next Bachelorette.

I think you and I must have been twins serparated at birth! I agree with what you said 100%! I personally feel he would have picked Bevin if Tessa had not played the "I'm falling in Love with you" crap. I really hope for his sake that they live happily ever after but I was so upset for Bevin last night that I actually got choked up! I just keep thinking to myself...maybe he will realize that he threw away the girl that REALLY was in love with him and they will end up together after all. Now wouldn't that make for a romantic, weird story for T.V.? One more thing, I can not believe he wore the watch Bevin gave him. He should have had more tact and class than that with her. JMHO!

Oh, Oh-I just noticed that "The Bachelor-after the Rose" is on opposite the American Idol season finale. Now that's going to be a major dilema for some of us.

8pm Eastern time.

For anyone who saw them this morning on The View, did Tessa act any differently? I always just figured she was terrified of the cameras. Not simply that she was holding back feelings. A combo of both. I'm just wondering if she acted any differently now. DH watched for the first time last night & said she was acting. I tried explaining I think she's just very uneasy & she's always looking at the camera out of the corner of her eye.

She seemed somewhat comfortable to me, but really didn't act that differently. I never thought she was terrified of the cameras, though. In fact, I was surprised at how she spoke without all the "sing-songy-ness" of the other girls, and seemed to really believe what she was saying, instead of saying the obvious right answer.

I actually feel bad that she's seemingly normal, and ended up with Andy, who seems odd to me!

My Dad used to tell me as a young girl that the couples who are giddy and all over each other... never last long. That's lust, not love. This from a man who was married 61 years and saw LOTS of break ups. As I "age" I tend to believe him.

Bevin turned him on because she was CRAZY about who she thought he was... face it, they can't really KNOW each other that well. All men love to be adored, even Andy, who surprisingly, had the best morals of most of the Bachelors so far. He was serious about who he wanted to spend his life with, and he was attracted to someone who was cautious and realistic. Notice how he got rid of nearly ALL of the Barbie types QUICKLY?

Bevin was needy and clingy. Men like that for a while but it gets old quickly. She seems to have lots of insecurities.... a walking time bomb.

I think she needs to find herself before she cleaves onto another person. Two half people do not make a whole, two whole people do.

As for her being the next Bachelorette, I don't know. I'd take Danielle before her.

And about that sex study...:woohoo: WAAAAY to impress the new in-laws!!!:rotfl2:

Does Stephanie not have anyone in her life to tell her she needs to stop dressing like a prostitute??:scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: WHY would she wear that on this show (After the final rose)?? YUCK!!

My DH was playing on his PSP while I watched tonight. He glanced up once, saw Stephanie, said, "She has huge t---," and went right on playing without another glance.

Good call! Bevin said as much tonight on the aftershow. She said she felt it when she got in the limo on the way to see Andy that last time... just had a gut feeling.

I just tuned in to After the rose and they are wearing the same clothes as they had on this morning when I saw them on the View.....

Andy was pretty funny answering Bevin question she never asked.

You know, Bevin didn't seem to have a problem with Andy telling her he loved her. So why should anyone else. He had an interview on ABC and he said that Tessa hid a York Pepperment Patty during every date with him and he would always try to find it. Her mom was from York, Pa. He nicknamed her Pepperment Patty. They both seemed to be glowing on the AFR show tonight. She said that she couldn't fall for someone after seeing him twice while dating 15 other girls. The other girls were all about how they we connecting with him already and she needed to take things slower. Sounds like the girl has sense to me, not like she is emotionally closed off. Ans I think that Bevin is still a little too hung up on Andy to be the bachelorette yet. I would like to see Sadie as the Bachelorette.

I agree with everything you wrote.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Bevin is and was a class act after being Not selected. No bad mouthing, no anger, no 'language.' I really respect her. I know some B'hai and it doesn't suprise me that she was raised B'hai. She is able to stay peaceful in her sadness, that's a great attribute.

That was my reaction, too. I thought she showed alot of class and maturity.
