A good night sleep was had by all again, as usual, I the 40+ kid was the first one up. I awoke KC and asked if she wanted to sleep or hit the parks, PARKS! I told her as oldest son slept we would make it an early Universal day and hit MIB for some early training as Oldest Son was not letting us live down his beating us the day before. Oldest Son hears this and announces that he is coming with us. We are out the door by 8:00 AM, this is vacation, isnt it? Since the boats dont run until ½ hour before park opening which is listed for 9:00 AM we decide to walk it. From Tower II the best way to get to the path is out the front entrance and hit it from the drive up. The path is very nice with lush vegetation and well placed palm trees. Anyhow we are more concerned with trash talking each other about how we kick some butt on MIB. You see we will Attack the Alien Attack.
We soon are at the gate and go over to the Annual pass and Hotel Guests entrance which is the extreme left gate. We are second in line and get to see the Clap board opening at 8:30 AM. This was funny, as the family barely opens the park and then makes a beeline for Shrek. They are the only people in the park and they are running full tilt down the street, all that is left is the fallen clapboard as it spins on the pavement discarded over Ugly Green Orge with a bad case of flatulence.
As we make a right, I notice we are now alone. We are the only ones going down towards MIB. I look back and see what reminds me of the move Jumaji. It looks like a stampede of wild animals as everyone and I mean everyone heads towards Sherk. Anyhow as we reach the Cross Street by the Lucy Tribute we are held up a few minutes by a nice lady who says the rest of the park is not open yet but should be soon. Still Nobody, I take some pictures of my children standing on the lonely street. We are given the all clear and take leisurely pace towards MIB.
We are greeted by one of the Ride Ops we saw last night as they invite us in. We are the first to ride MIB today. Our first ride we ride together and have to wait a few seconds for another family to make there way down to the loading area. Soon we off, Great rides and some good scores. Oldest Son hits about 470,000 and I am at about 360,000. We are asked if we want to ride again and are told to go through the Baby Swap. Again no one there, and we are asked if we want to verse each other, Sure. I dont fare well this time, but Oldest son hits 521,000 in the car by himself. He stated yesterday that if he cracked 500,000 he would buy a picture. So now he has a picture of himself on MIB proudly displayed with all his sports and scholastic achievements in his room. Our next ride we use express since the queue is now starting to build. We ride together and kick some serious butt, Oldest son is now at 541,000, KC hits 196,000 and I chime in with 421,000 and a missed bonus. Oldest son, elbowed me off the button in fear of an old guy beating him. I buy this picture for the family photo Hallway. Proudly displayed here among other treasures such as Rock and Roll Roller Coaster, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Front Row on the Hulk, Jurassic Park River Adventure, and Splash Mountain.
We do MIB two more times with the room key. Scores are increasing each time. Its now about 9:30 AM and we hit Back to the Future and ET. Its nice to see that they updated Steven Speilbergs part, but I dont really notice any other changes on the ride itself. As we walked back towards the front of the park its hard to believe that the Shrek wait now stands at 90 minutes by 12:00 PM the posted wait was 135 Minutes.
We Use our Room Key for Shrek and walk right into the Preshow. Oldest Son leaves us and heads back to the room. Its about 11:00 AM and we head to the bakery for a Sandwich and a refill in Sponge Bob. KC and I do Jimmy Neutron and head towards the NY area. I take some pictures of the Mummy Sign and head towards Second Hand Rose Store. This store sells discontinued Universal Items as Clearance, This is the last stop before the Beltz Factory Outlets. I am looking for an Old Shirt, Woody Woodpecker got Coffee. I am told it was very popular and was never sent to the clearance store. The woman behind the counter calls about three other Stores for me but couldnt find it. She say they have something with a penguin and got Cocoa on it, but its just not the same.
We head back to MIB for some more practice runs. On our two rides through we get paired up with two teenagers, on the second run we here them say, There going to get beat again. After the ride they ask us for some tips. We give them the baby carriage, mailbox, and shooting the eyes in the park scene. As we are waiting to load we see Oldest Son, he never left the park he was tuning up on MIB for the last two hours. What a cheat. What was really funny was that he was riding with the same two teenagers we had just finished with. When he got off the ride, he complained that the two guys he was with new all his Secrets and he only got 250,000 because they kept interfering with him. They told him some old guy give him the Tips. We all had a good laugh and went in for one more ride. After that we made our way to the exit for a quick couple of rides in IOA.
IOA was hopping. It was about 2:00 PM. Oldest son went back to the room, we hope, So it was just KC and I. We immediately went to Spiderman which was posted at 90 minutes, we were on in less than 10 minutes. We back for Hulk, 60 minute wait, we were on in 10 again. We Zoom over to the Lost Continent and Hit fire for a quick ride and then to Suess Landing for a ride on Cat in the Hat. We exit and make our way towards the Water Taxi, Planning for a quick dip in the pool. As we are walking towards the pool with no dark clouds in sight there is noticeable non activity in the pool. No one is the pool. Oh Shi , Yes exactly, someone what looked to be a Babe Ruth in the pool upon further examination they had to get the toxic waste team to clean things up. Pool is going to be closed until at least 7:00 PM. Find that kid and Flog him or her. Maybe Mom and Dad too.
We go up to the room grab oldest son and head for Dinner. Choice is NASCAR. Son had Rack of Ribs. KC Club Sandwich, I had pulled Pork. Ribs are big in fact plate is so big it takes up whole side of the table. Nachos were like from Taco Bell Chips and Cheese on the side, not very good.
By 6:00 PM we are back in USF and headed towards MIB, Oldest Son Breaks the 600,000 mark and I crack 500,000 with the bonus. KC is lagging with 250,000. Makes you feel proud when people have to look at your scores. They are either from the same car or the opposite track. Anyhow three more rides on MIB and we are now ready for the showdown.

We walk back to the Royal Pacific and get to the room to watch the fireworks. KC and I hit the pool which is open, We hit the Hot tub which faces the Cabana, Some stuffed shirts were there. They sort of acted like we were intruding. We head back to the pool, Should have been like Shrek and made bubbles, but we were pooped, (at least the pool wasnt ) and headed towards the room for another restful sleep.
