Somehow I keep forgetting to update my minutes!

30 min run Tuesday (hills- ugh!)
45 min walk Wednesday

Eating healthy is a struggle for me too! It's not that I don't like to eat healthy foods- I actually love veggies and many other good things. But I also love to eat in quantity! Especially things like chips... Margaritas.... Pasta... And Easter candy! This week I made DH hide it from me. The madness had to stop!

I, too, am having trouble with eating! We're going on a cruise in December (thanks, Mom & Dad!!), I just turned the big 5-0 and all those things were pretty motivating, but spring break I fell off the wagon and just haven't climbed back on. Spring break, Easter, my birthday those things are over now. Time to shape up--literally! Especially time to lose the 4 pounds I gained! :thumbsup2

We can do it. :cheer2:

Ran/walked a 5K this morning with my sweet princess. It was her first run since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a year and a half ago. It was a bit too cold for me, 40 degrees, but the sun was shining.

Since my last post, I've walked (including on an errand instead of taking the car :) ), helped take down the old pool we're replacing, and jogged for a few minutes on the mini-trampoline (because I realized just how close I was to a nice, round number!)

I'm at 300/600.
 
Finally a beautiful spring day here! Skies so blue that I went out for a nice hour-long run. First 5-miler of the year for me and it was a good one. Hope the weather holds up for DS's baseball practice tonight.

Did a 45 min walk yesterday too as a break from cleaning the basement. (Yesterday was NOT a beautiful spring day)

Took a seasonal p/t job - on my feet moving 7 hrs/day, 4 days/wk. I gave myself 45 minutes each day for the days I worked last week. Seemed fair....So with that and walking the pooch and mowing the lawn, I made my goal and a bit more! Keep it up everyone - every minute counts towards a healthier YOU! :)

(The downside of the hours on my feet for work is that I have zero interest in running when I get home. Gonna have to work that out over the next few weeks. Summer running was a problem for me last year - too hot and humid even at 8AM. But I do want to keep a base of 2-3 miles, 2-3xweek, so that's my goal for next month. Also, I may look at starting some swimming or yoga)
