The Apprentice....the Trump version...watch out for spoilers

You don't know that. Most here thought that Randall would have said to hire her and yet he didn't. I wouldn't put it past Rebecca to have done the same thing.

Every question she answered about Randall, she answered with respect. Too bad he couldn't do the same.

I'm still mostly annoyed at Alla. Man, if only I could talk to Alla for a bit!!! :badpc: :badpc:

Actually, Trump didn't ask if Rebecca should be his apprentice as well. He just asked if he should hire Rebecca as well. He could have the title and she could still have a job with Mr. Trump. I predict now this is going to be like American Idol. Rubin won the contest but Clay is the star!

I doubt Rebecca would be hired for anything too substantial. She didn't do very well in any of the projects.

I, too, lost some respect for Randall tonight. It wouldn't have cost him one little thing to have Trump hire Rebecca too.

I really lost all respect for Randal tonight. After talking all nice to her face to face and then coming around with that decision really shows what kind of a person he is. They wouldn't have even been working on the same project. That was low :sad2:

I agree. He had the job and he missed the opportunity to be bigger than the job.

If trump really wanted both of them he would have hired both of them regardless of what Randall said. He also said he might have been convinced to hire her as well-there was no guarantee that he would hire her. The point of the game was to get it down to the one best person for the job-There have been tough choices in the past and they had to be made just as they were this time. It wasn't fair of Trump to ask that question to Randall IMO.

Maybe he was afraid she would outshine him. :earboy2:

Randall was put on the spot at the end of a hard fight... Trump shouldn't have given him that much control over another job applicant at that point in time. I really wish Trump had hired them both. I'm glad Randall won, but Trump should have taken control and made sure Rebecca had a job at the end of the night. It isn't Randall's fault, it is Trumps. He lost a great employee!

Than Randall, being as great as he is (and I do think he is fantastic) should have known that the answer would have been yes, I would hire Rebecca, don't you think? I mean, aren't you always supposed to be thinking on your feet at this level? :confused3

The Donald gets the prize for The Biggest Loser. My guess is that the first decision his new apprentice made just cost him a lot of viewers. After four years of watching no reality show other than The Apprentice, I will not be watching next season. What a lowdown, selfish, nasty thing for Randall to do. The only good news is that I am certain Rebecca will end up with a better organization than The Trump Organization. Maybe Yahoo should hire her to replace the three witches they put on national television to state that they didn't want their VIPs' being asked to support the Elizabeth Glaser foundation. Maybe Rebecca was right: Randall just gets so focused on the task at hand, he forgets to look at the big picture.

I didn't understand that either..."yes, we are sponsoring this wonderful group, but hey, please don't ask anyone for money"....what???? :confused3 :confused3 :rotfl:

I thought Rebecca did much better in the final project than Randall. The one major complaint was about the lack of charity fundraising. Maybe it's just me (and I just don't have a business mindset), but I would guess that you don't want to tick off a multi-billion dollar industry like Yahoo by going against their wishes and begging for donations. Yes, it was unfortunate for Rebecca to have to do business with a company like that (and come on, didn't that Yahoo charity pledge during the show just rub you the wrong way?), but it wasn't her fault the company didn't want to make it all about the charity.

Randall, on the other hand, really faltered in the final task. Remember back to last week when he left his one teammate to completely set up the baseball field? Then not checking the weather forecast to see if it would rain?

Rebecca clearly outshone Randall in this final task which was by far the most complicated task this season.

Yes, I'm sure Yahoo was just thrilled for the negative publicity regarding Pediatric Aids and having to "remedy" the situation by making a huge donation tonight.

Yeah really. Did you like how Yahoo tried to cover their rear ends? Funny!

They just had a live interview with Randal and Trump on the news. Randal said he sticks by his decision to be the only winner. It was a competition and he was the better candidate. And he won. So, again Randal, why couldn't first runner up get a different job with Mr. Trump that could affect her career for the rest of her life?

I was disappointed with the end and I was not impressed with randall. On the other hand, I was very disappointed with the rest of the "cast". the women were a bunch of bitter, bitter, bitter sore losers and didn't seem to be able to handle another woman winning. That's just sad. maggie

I agree 100% ultimately it was Trumps fault not Randall's. I wish he had hired them both as well but it was his choice to do it as he did.

Can some refresh my memory - did Randall and Rebecca ever go head to head as PM's during the season?

Really, at this point, I don't think Rebecca should even accept a job offer from Trump. I be she'll get better offers. I hope she keeps a clear head in all of this. Everyone says "oh, she's only 23"...well hell, than she's just gonna get better!!! :teeth:

so he's the "better" candidate. No one is arguing he is extremely qualified. BUT! Is he not a big enough person and savvy businessman to see that Rebecca would be a valuable asset to Trump in her own way and on a different job? I think he made a critical business error in judgement and a terrible decision as a human being.
