I love this show. It's proving, week by week, that business takes more than just book knowledge. It takes brains plus innovation, luck, timing, tact, good team work, being prepared, street smarts, communication and so much more.
Jason - The combination of not talking to the client AND not taking responsibility for his teams' failure, regardless of who made mistakes, brought him down. He also couldn't find a good reason why he was suggesting the other team member for firing.
Sam and Omorosa - I think they are both being kept for shock value. They add spice each week with their actions and comments. Both might be great if they settle down but that may not happen in a few weeks.
Ad Campaigns - I agree with a previous comment that the men's campaign was boring and aimed at other men. It looked very 60's-like to me. The wife was home, not seen, while her husband was off on business (wearing a boring suit no less). It didn't look powerful and interesting. As for the women's team, I suspect they were selected more for their creativity than the ad campaign itself. If the client were to suggest a theme to them they would be likely to come up with an appropriate and eye catching ad campaign quickly. The one they had was offensive to me BUT unique. I agree with Robinrs, this ad campaign would go down in flames (doubly bad for an airline). It was also appealing to the male executives, again. What woman executive would be impressed by that ad campaign?
