The Apprentice? Anyone watch?

Daxx's Wife here ... I looove Sean (don't tell Daxx!). That accent makes me swoon every time!!!! Anyway, I think he's a good "player".

I am not a Lee fan. I just don't care for him ... but I did like it how Leslie had Lee pegged as saying that he'd pull the "Well, I wanted a different price point" thing just to squirm out of things if necessary in the boardroom!! I just do not like him. But, I agree w/the other poster who said they could've done faster research re. price point at the 7-11 store!!!! When I heard their location was near NYU, I thought "Even if it's NYC and things are pricier, they're college kids!"

I have to agree w/Trump's thing that Lenny's group didn't ask enough questions or hit the target w/the Boys & Girls Club. Like Trump said, "what if you don't like music?" I am not musically inclined, so I know that, as a child, I would've been bored after 5 mins. at that club! We have a B&G Club in my school and I know they would flip over the "mix" room.

I will give Lenny credit ... he was right when he said "what if someone breaks that big screen tv or the video game system"! Those are very pricey to replace, too! I think I would've gone w/a flat screen tv that could be mounted up higher on the wall to prevent someone from damaging it. Of course, it's easy to play "armchair apprentice"!

I can't stand Lee, I hope that he goes next. He's so arrogant and I don't understand his loyalty to Lenny. A few weeks ago Lenny was criticizing him for taking the Jewish holiday off. I'm actually surprised that more people didn't complain about it. He basically got a free pass for 2 shows.

I so agree w/this. I respect religious beliefs and holidays ... however, if it were me and I had taken one religious holiday off, I would've skipped on the other for the "sake of the team". I wonder, if in the future epsiodes, it will have an effect on Lee?!

Yes, in the real world, you might get the religious holiday off ... but you might not! I have Jewish friends who work Hannukah and Christian friends who work Good Friday. I suppose they could take a personal day or call in sick if they wanted to. I would love to see each person on Lee's team take a day off for religious reasons just to make things fair for everyone! I'm not saying everyone take the same day off ... just one person, each week, getting the chance to "opt out".

Glad Lee is still around. Didn't care for Lenny, but he was entertaining. I hope Andrea gets the boot soon! I can't stand her!! She is a cocky something.

True--but George wasn't working on either show (though clarified only on the first absence that it was for the Jewish holiday).

It happens.

Though I think he's out of holidays at this point.

But he's a brownnoser.

Though Leslie was an idiot for not letting them sell the 1000 sandwiches.

And remember--the real world shuts down on christmas---and sundays. And while this is a job interview--the fact that his interview overlapped important days in Judaism--was mere coincidence. It would happen in the real world as well (as evidenced by George).

It would be one thing if his absence caused the losses--but those who were fired showed enough ineptness for his absence to not make a difference.

Could not stand Lenny. He was just so irritating!

I though the 2nd show with the P'eat-za was stupid all around. Who wants a sandwich that is also a pizza? And at 8 bucks?? And who cares if you get a free hat? I just thought it was all dumb.

I didn't get the $7.99 for one and $8.99 for two. Only $1 more for a second??? That screams that it is overpriced. I thought they should have done $5.99 for one and $8.99 for 2. And I didn't quite get the winning thing either. Donald said whoever had the greatest percentage increase of sandwiches sold. Nothing was ever mentioned of money. It had to have been greatest percentage of money brought in by sandwiches sold - not shere volume or it wouldn't have mattered if they sold sandwiches for $2.

I'm predicting the final four as Lee (he does have good ideas - when he works), Sean, Roxanne and Allie. I'm even thinking the final two may be Allie and Roxanne. Andrea would have definitely gone if her team lost. Carolyn said she didn't get the hat.
I liked Lenny. What he said is actually right. He is kind of like Simon Cowell in that he just says what he thinks, doesn't actually tone it down any. Charmaine is a complainer and she has been from the beginning. What was the deal with "You're not my friend anymore? Boohoohoo!" Like in reality she will ever see him again! What did it matter?

Yes $8.99 was wayyyyy overpriced.

But heck all the B1G1 free offers (or get the second for a penny, a buck, whateveR)--are the same way. I guess common marketing practice that just leaves me :confused3 .

I agree--a pizza sandwich. :confused3

In reality the "grownups" after leaving the board room shake hands as business is business and they were simply making themself look good.

While her boohoo moment was a bit childish--so was Lenny and all the others who do the "you're not my friend anymore" bit once they leave the boardroom. Shows they cannot separate personal and business and probably are not suited for the Trump organization especially--where he has little emotion in his business decisions.

But he knew that this would overlap with the holidays. He should not have done the show if he needed to take time off and he knew it ahead of time. I think that his absence may have contributed to one loss. Didn't someone say that they really needed some more creative ideas one of the times that he wasn't there? I understand that life isn't always fair but this is a competition and I don't think it's right that he was allowed to get a free pass TWICE!

true-maybe no free pass.

But it is his religion and if professionally you will suggest someone be fired for it--it makes an interesting playing field.

It's not like he's refusing to work on Saturdays or anything.

And working suring Chanukah is not the same as working on Yom Kippor/Rosh Hashannah.. Lee may not have known the conflict would happen.. They may not have know exactly what days things would happen..

But, would as many people be squabbling if the show overlapped Christian holidays? Most of the US is Christian, so we get time off for Christmas, Easter, etc. True, not everyone does, but at the executive level they do. Why shouldn't Jews or Islams get time for their holidays? Fair is fair. But, Mark Burnett probably already has factored an avoidance of Christian Holidays into his Apprentice schedule.

Should we all avoid companies that are owned by those of other religious persuations? Maybe we'd want time off for our religious holidays.... how fair would that be to our employers?

Yes, he does. I rememeber a few years ago, hearing about a Survivor taping that had some delays. They were originally scheduled to wrap the 1st or second week of December, but with the delay, they really had to scramble so everyone could be home for Christmas.

I also think it has been very smart, and understanding of Donald to not let them use Lee's religion against him. Like he said to Bryce, "Do you really expect me to fire him because he was observing a religious holiday?"

The thing about the religion, is it is not really fair. yes, we get Christmas off, but so doesn't most or all of the executive world. Christian or not, everything is shut down.

So, you really can't compare Christmas to a Jewish holiday. Not too many Christians in the business world (not talking hospitals, police, fire, ect) need to request Christmas off, it is a given. So, it makes it harder on Jewish people, because their Holidays fall on a work day. Not fair, IMO.

Lee annoys me a TON, but Donald seems to really like him. Even when he does something that everyone else thinks is wrong, Donald compliments him for it. I really hope he screws up badly at some point and can't weasel out of it.

I agree with everyone else - $8 for a prepackaged pizza from 7-11?!?!? HUH?? That was unreal! I'm not surprised they lost with that.

I'm kinda sad to see Lenny gone. He always cracked me up, and a lot of times he did have good points. I'm not saying he would have been The Apprentice, but I enjoyed what he brought to the game.

Lee annoys me with comparing himself to Trump all the time and the way he is weasely. I did like his loyalty, though. And no one should be faulted for following the dictates of their religion.

I like Sean and Tarek, but I think both need to step up a litte more.

I HATE ANDREA. I think I would have punched her by now. :rotfl2:

And the pizza sandwhich was GROSS. And can you imagine how many calories it must be? BLECH.

all Lee is, is a rump kisser as post number 2 stated.
he is a yes man in my eyes.
and I think that might eventually get him into trouble with Trump in the future.

Andrea is extremely headstrong...my way or the highway...I haven't liked her since the way she treated Brent. Who cares if he was incompetent and didn't belong in the competition...that was no excuse to NOT treat him like a human being.

I really don't know who to root for this season yet...i'm still in shock that KENDALL won last year...

I am waiting for some kind of realignment that will have Andrea and Tarek on the same team...that should make for a very interesting episode. They both feel they are superior to the other contestants and would be great duking it out in the boardroom. And, as stated in a previous post, at some point Carolyn will probably let Andrea have it (I hope so anyway).

I can't stand Lee. He really hasn't done anything yet. I think he is extremely negative and really hasn't supported any project manager except Lenny. Has he taken charge of any task yet?

Charmaine is another one that totally gets on my nerves. She spends the whole time complaining and her performance in previous tasks has been less than stellar.

At this point I really don't have anyone in particular that I am rooting for.

Hey, whatever happened to Kendra? They have never shown her on the show again after her win. Bill is really the only one that has been allowed to remain connected to the show.
