So after a short veg out period (and snooze for Mike!), we got dressed for Mothers Day dinner at 1900 Park Fare. We took a bus to MK and the monorail to the Grand Floridian.
...waiting for the bus.
Dinner was a large buffet with Cinderella, Prince Charming, her stepmother, and stepsisters.
I have to say, the savory part of the buffet was delicious, but the desserts were not very good at all, which surprised me.
I had the everything mashed potatoes (yummy), prime rib (tasty), caprese salad (good but average), chicken Marsala (ok), fried ravioli (yum!), green beans (good), potato salad (ok), green salad (good), and fruit (fine).
I also had the famous strawberry soup, which was probably my favorite part of the meal--my daughter devoured hers!
For dessert I ad the apple crumble (ok), chocolate mousse (yummy), and carrot cake (meh). I also had a cannoli (meh), brownie (yuck--how can you mess this up?!). My hubby had the same take on it. Overall though we enjoyed the meal and the characters.
My personal princess!
