Anyone watching? I had to double check that there wasn't a thread already posted, but I caught up with my DVR and saw the premiere was last Thursday.

Not being a Big Brother viewer, I have no idea who these contestants are. And frankly, I'm never a big fan of these seasons where they're just recycling other CBS reality show contestants. But I am interested in how a Europe-only season will go. It does sound like they'll be more on their own for transportation to each country, which I like. Recent seasons have been pretty boring with pre-arranged flights or charter flights. Admittedly, some of that was out of their hands with Covid issues.

Anyways, no favorites so far, but I suppose there is going to be a lot more strategy and "alliances" this season, which I guess makes sense, given the contestants and especially since many of them know each other already.

I was a little thrown off at first of all the Big Brother contestants as I also don't watch it. The knowing each other already with so many of them being like that will be interesting.

It started off kind of weird. I thought I had missed something since they went straight into the competition before standing on the mat with Phil. It was a little bit of a whirlwind at first (the body bowling thing), it moved too fast, and I do watch Big Brother so I'm familiar with at least one contestant (if not both) on each team. The one couple (Matt and his wife) caught me off guard because on Big Brother, Matt went by his last name "Turner" and he doesn't even seem/act like the same person, other than how he looks. Even though I've watched every season, there are two who I have absolutely no recollection of. I'll be watching, though, just like I do every season.

I totally forgot it started up again, and then just saw it on my DVR. I too am interested in how an all-European season will go. I think taking so many trains will be interesting.

I do watch Big Brother, so I know who these people are. Some of them I loathe, so I'm not happy to see them again. It is interesting some of the dynamics, like Rubina and Tucker being a couple, but on different teams, and some exes/rivals thrown in there as well.

I watched the premier last week. I'm not a Big Brother viewer so this is just like a normal season to me. I'm sure this week's episode will help me decide who I like and who I don't (I have a couple of ideas already). The team that was sent home last week probably wouldn't have gotten very far, looked like they were both a few fries short of a Happy Meal. The team that came in 2nd to last, will probably be gone this week. They couldn't find an X on a map if someone showed them. Excited that it's back on though!

Yeah, those bottom teams really didn't look like they were built for TAR.

We're watching--by "we", I mean me and my son, the International Studies major who loves any kind of travel. We're excited to see them visdit some lesser-known European countries, and work the train system.

That said, not sorry about the team that went home. A couple teams just don't seem to have their act together. We don't watch Big Brother, so we have no idea who anybody is or what strategies they might use.

I thought the bowling looked fun!

Big TAR fan, but I took the show off my YouTube TV record list because they are doing the Big Brother thing. Not watching. I am going to Europe myself this fall.

I don't care for it being all Big Brother folks and haven't watched BB for probably 15 years. I like the everyday people with a couple reality stars thrown in. But I will still watch as I like to see where they go. I know Enzo from Survivor (at least I think it was Survivor) and Kyland from The Challenge.

Enzo was on Big Brother (not Survivor, at least not that I'm aware of).

2 more episodes in - and it generally appears that the weakest teams are falling by the wayside. No real surprises on the eliminations so far, IMO.

A little surprised last night - I don't know if I've ever seen a team literally give the win to another team, but I suppose that's probably part of their strategy. I don't think I like that teams are so openly helping each other out at this point. I understand having some alliances, but it seems like they're going a bit extreme right now.

Haven't been watching, but your comment reminded me of one season several years ago where 4 teams totally worked together and excluded one team. I really didn't like that season.

I think, of the top 4 teams we're currently seeing, at least 2 of them will be in the finals. They all seem very strong, and the rest seem quite far behind. Of course, a train issue or something similar could throw off one of the strong teams--hence, why I say, at least 2 out of the 4.

I don't mind them working together at this point--it's early, and there seem to be a fair number of weak teams (the ones who went home, the father/daughter, the blonde "influencer"--I don't see them lasting until the end). I do think the sisters (the one that was crying?) could be surprisingly strong, if they get their act together.

I don't watch Big Brother so I have no idea who these people are. I thought the brothers who gave up being first made a good decision. It doesn't look good to win 3 in a row. I felt bad for the guy who struggled with the ice skating. I'm glad he didn't give up. For the last team, it's always sad when Phil has to meet you at one of the road blocks because you're so far behind.

I figured the team that went home was going to go quickly. They always seems a little too relaxed. Can't be relaxed when you're always in the back of the pack.

How lost did that last team get? Unless it's editing I can't see how the 10th team was able to do both challenges and the last team still didn't get to the plowing the field yet? It looked like they left the beer challenge close together.

I wish they wouldn't allow them to use stranger's cellphones. The show might as well just give them one at this point.:rolleyes:
