I noticed that today Catie and her boyfriend worked so hard because they wanted the girls out so bad, they didn't even argued the were so focus on their tasks and it paid off.

She is the only girl left, not so bad for being the so called dummy!

I thought Brandy and Carol were tame compared to teams in the past. I did not see them being rude to their cab driver, like the cops implied. The only thing the editors could come up with them being "mean" was the tiara comment?

No, they made fun of them when they got to the mat that one time by mistake in France, Brandy was like Dahhhh! and roll her eyes at them.
They did not like Catie and they made fun of them a lot, that one time when Catie left the coconut behind, they also made comments about dahh something like that.

Kurby's in Canada - where Amazing Race ISN'T delayed due to stupid U.S. sports broadcasts running over the planned time. It's a running joke over the last few weeks. I mean, I thought with football over we'd all be seeing AR at its scheduled 8 PM every week - but nooooooo....

For the record, simply because one participant in a thread posts that it's closed - momentarily, temporarily, or whatever - doesn't make that so. Not even when I do it For that matter, not even when the original poster does it. Only a moderator/webmaster can close a thread. My statement back there was a joke, because, as Kurby points out (by the way, I don't know what she did but her posts are once again visible AND in English, I don't know where the Invisible Gibberish came from ) while Canadian fans in the Eastern time zone started watching at 8 PM, we poor U.S. viewers had to suffer through something like a half hour (fifteen minutes, I don't know, this DVR time-shifting thing has me SO confused) of 60 Minutes first.

Yeah!!! Glad to see my least favorite team bite the dust! Geez, those two have a snotty attitude.

Really!!! It's not just about who might beat you - after all, Caite and Brent have won in the past - it's about how you treat others. Aside from Jordan't original making fun of Caite's pageant response and maybe a few other expected catty remarks about other contestants, everything we've seen shows him being a nice guy. Yes, it's a competition, but everybody is getting along well. Except Carol and Brandy are consistently being beeyotches, especially toward/about Caite. What did they EXPECT? Brent and Caite can hold their own against the other teams - why NOT get rid of the competitors who just don't like you?

what takes me off about the the booing and whining is that given the chance either of those teams would have used it on another team.

this isn't a "lets be friends" game its a race for a million bucks - if they are interested in making friends then go on hmmmmmm survivor no no not that one, big brother? oh no not that one.... oh oh the bachelor - oh yeah he kissed you instead of me.... na that wouldn't work...

Yea, I think the tiara comment from the first leg seems to have really set Caite off. The later "duhs" from the lesbians seemed to me to be more in response to Caite's constant "those mean lesbians" comments. Not that I liked the lesbians much, either, but I would have rather seen Caite go, she is just annoying as heck, between the constant whining and the trashy way she talks.

U-turns are part of the game, and Carol and Brandy were as bad as Joe whining about it, but they are right, it was a stupid move on Caite/Brent's part. The cowboys are the strongest team and if they wanted to win, they should have u-turned them.

I thought it was very interesting when Louie and Michael said something like "Brent and Caite did what they were supposed to. We convinced them Carol and Brandy were a bigger threat to them than we are, and they U-turned them." Little manipulation going on there?

I read that Steve and Allie ran the rest of the race as decoys, though, so I'd think Carol and Brandy did, too. That must have been fun for both C&B teams, having to continue together after this leg!

C&B have been rude from the start to CAite and Brent. Not to mention, that though we may never see direct interection--when you have such disdain for people, it comes across.



I am thrilled for the conclusion! Yay!!

I did think it funny when the cops admitted to their master evil plan. Buwahahaha.

In reality though, C&B may have never come first, but they certainly have gotten their act together from the start, and much like jury votes on survivor...you may not be a direct threat, but sometimes people just prefer that you don't win the million. The U-turn pretty much takes care of that.


I thought it was very cool and brave that the brothers succeeded in the fast forward. I love it (regardless of team--truly!!!) when someone overcomes an immense personal obstacle or fear and takes one for the team. (unlike miss afraid of water scaredy pants last season refused to do a regular task .)

I am very happy for them and glad it was not me on top of that ferris wheel.

Someone commented about the brothers telling Carol and Brandy's cab driver that they were mean--I think they were just trying to garner sympathy and throwing out whatever they could to sway the driver to ditch them.

YAY Carol and Brandy are gone! They are SO rude! I feel like I would never be friends with them because they are sooo dang negative.

I'm assuming the tiara comment wasn't thing only thing that made Catie feel the way she did. It was probably the catalyst but I really don't believe it was the only negative thing C&B said about B&C.

I'm totally rooting for Brent and Catie now. I think a lot of the dumb comments are completely rude and uncalled for so I hope they can prove the others wrong.
