why are R&A on Regis & Kelly when it was U&J that won??? I'd rather hear from U&J right now!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention, the runners up do NOT receive any money, only the winners receive the 1 million dollar award...

They were scheduled before the winner was ever known and for the purpose of promoting their wedding.

I'm sure U/J are making the rounds.

I think only first place wins money.

My guess is that each team is plaid "scale" for their particapation. Even though they don't win money they are "paid" to be on the show. This is how it works on American Idol at least. They are paid for their time on the show. But the WINNER gets the contract etc.

This is how it works on survivor--but that is publicized/well known and it isn't scale (as I don't think it is X dollars per episode...but a $ amount for last through 2nd place).

AR has never said anything to that regard.

AI they are paid scale--definitely.

I am still upset that Rob and Amber didn't win. They truly played the game the best of all previous AR participants. I like Uchenna a lot but am not sure about Joyce. But I do give her a lot of credit for having her head shaved.

Rob and Amber were great this morning on Live with Regis and Kelly. I know lots of you can't stand them, but they make an adorable couple. I can't wait to see their wedding on May 24. I hope they have a great life together.
