Gretchen and Meredith -I had to restrain my self from screaming at the TV screen for her to JUST OPEN THE BOXES!

I DID! Was just....shut up and open the boxes! When she went out and asked for that hug, I was hoping that she was going to say we should quite. That was how bad she was getting on my nerves.

I agree, I don't think Kelly expected Amber to help her find the clue. I think she did think they would all be in one box, and if she found it she would yell, and if Amber found it she wanted Amber to yell. Amber held up her end of the argreement. She yelled when she found the clue. But the clues were not together, so I don't think Kelly would of expected Amber to hang with her until she found it. Who would?

O.K...maybe I understood it wrong. We got to watch it at it's orginal time, so it wasn't taped...so I can't watch it again. But that what the vibe I got, that Kelly wanted Amber to stick around and help her find the clue, and then they would all go to the next stop together.

I think I have it figured out. Rob has an aura about him that turns other people stupid. Look at all the opportunities there were to vote him out on Survivor All Stars, yet people don't learn from the past...

Ron: "Should I yield you?"

Rob: <waving his hand>... "These aren't the droids you're looking for."

Ron: "We choose not to yield"

That is just WAAAYYY to funny!


But we must remember that the reson the mind trick worked in Star Wars was because, the ones it was used on were not really use to thinking for themselves. So I guess that says a lot about Ron and Kelly!

I have the worse time getting real play to work on my computer. Sometimes it will load the videos and others time it won't. Plus it takes forever to load them. I guess it is all the firewalls and antivirus things that interfere.

Nancy, I was having the same problems until I opened IE to watch it, then it worked fine. On aol? Forgetaboutit! Maybe that will help you as well.

Why didn't Meredith go for this challenge instead? He is much taller and would have had an easier time with opening the higher boxes.

I think because he did the last roadblock. And he can only do six of them, and she has to six of them. That is the only thing that I can think of.

But I agree, since he is taller he should have done it. It was like the minute she walked in there and saw those TALL stacks of boxes, she felt like it was to much to do and just didn't know where to start. (Can you imagin how she would have handled the haystacks last race!?)

What is IE? I have tried real play in both aol and internet explorer. I'm sure it is my firewall that is stopping it from playing. As messages keep popping up.

I keep getting the unable to connect to server message. I think that they are having server problems because I've never had problems in viewing the video from there before

Thanks to everyone for the information. Guess we get back to AR before someone yells that we are off topic.

I have a theory about Ron and Kelly. I really don't think they are a true couple, I think that there agents put them together for exposure. There is no chemistry between them whatever and you really don't even see any affections between the 2 of them.

Any one else have any thoughts on that?

I am usually a lurker on this thread, but i heard something today that provided me a morsel for speculation, that i would thought you would find interesting....

I heard from a inside source at the Regis and Kelly show that Rob and Amber were possible guests for the R&K show on Thursday (in WDW).

My thought was do we think that means they may be eliminated on Tues - and on the talk show circuit...why would they have them if they couldnt talk about it??? Hmmmmm.......

I would personally hate that as they make me laugh out loud every week.

Or do we think that it means they make the final 4 and are on the show to promote the upcoming finale???

What do you think??

Just something to consider.....I guess we will find out for sure next Tuesday....

Did I mention how much I hate "to be continued" episodes?

My guess would be that CBS wants Romber out there to get viewers to watch the final four. This has been a highly rated show because of R&A. I don't think they would want them out there telling everyone they lost - IMHO

Does this mean Regis and Kelly are taping live from WDW this Thursday? Wow! If that's the case, I'll be there! I'm sure they'll be tight lipped about the race. We've seen other reality show stars show up on talk shows before the show was over and they'll all very secretive.

From a friend of a friend.......so who knows but they said their friend was invited to Rob & Amber's wedding which was going to be taking place near the end of April at Atlantis. That puts them pretty close to WDW!!!!

which means Mark Burnett is, thankfully, not taping these nuptials for TV. heheh

remember after Rob proposed to Amber on the Survivor finale/reunion....he said it would be nice for Burnett (creator of suvivor/AR) to foot the bill for their wedding.

Hmmm, if your "source" is reliable, it does not look good for R&A next week. In all my years of watching reality TV, (Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother) I have never seen a contestant do the talk show circuit while the show was on the air, unless the were eliminated. (with the exceptioon of the "ghost tribe from Pearl Island in Survivor, but they had to do the talk show circuit after they were eliminated, so we would not get supsicious as to why they were not on)

Actually, as I type this,I am thinking, it is peculiar, because I have a strong feeling that Tuesday night will be a non-elimination, so there should be no team out in the "circuit" next week. Like you said, I guess we will have to wait and see.

ETA: forget everything I just said. it just dawned on me, if R&A are getting married at the end of April, and I have a strong feeling it WILL be televised, then that is what they would be on R&K to promote.

Really? I have never seen a reality contestant on a talk show before they were out, if the show was still on the air.

I also strongly feel that next Tuesday is going to be a non-elimination leg. I doubt even "the talk show circuit" knows who the next person is who is eliminated until right before the show airs. Since Regis and Kelly don't usually tape their segment until Thursday, they have plenty of time to formulate their questions for the contestants, I can't see why they would know this far in advance. My guess is as others have said, that CBS is trying to drum up interest in the finale with the most recognizable team. Just because it has never been done before doesn't mean it can't happen!
