I TOTALLY Agree!!!!!

And, I may have heard incorrectly, but when Rob and Amber were deliberating on the yield, I could swear that Rob said something about U/J being their strongest competition, but that they knew Ron and Kelly were right behind them, so it was the best decision...so I don't think there was ANY lack of respect to U/J because they didn't yield them...

I watched some video clips on the cbs.com this morning, and there was quite a long clip about Rob & Amber deliberating on the mat as to which team to yield. Amber absolutely contributes fully in the decision making for the team, and Rob pays attention! At least 3 times he said "Let's get off the mat and think about this", and then they would step off the mat and talk about it some more. Neither of them wanted to yield R & k, but in the end they thought it was the best decision strategically. They didn't know if R & K had been able to beg enough money to even make it through the leg, so they didn't want to waste their yield on U & J if R & K weren't going to make it anyway. It was very interesting to see them trying to make the decision who to yield.

London Bridge is in Arizona (seriously, look it up). And having been to London many times, I can tell you the Underground is very easy to figure out, even for a first timer. M & G definitely should have done that detour instead of the boats.

Agree that the London Underground is rather easy to figure out -- however there are some tricks to it. How does one get from Bayswater station to Queensway station? You walk -- even though a look at the map would suggest taking either the Circle or District Line to Notting Hill Gate and then switching to the Central Line. Queensway Station is a very short walk from Bayswater. Try getting from Great Portland Street to Regent's Park by Underground -- one is practically across the street from the other.

All that said -- the Boating Lake in Battersea Park is not convenient to any Underground Station. Hunting for clues around Baker St. and St. John's Wood is the much better option.

Now -- just because there is a London Bridge stretching across a lake in Arizona (just the facing stones actually -- the rest stayed in England) doesn't mean there isn't a London Bridge in London. It's right between Tower Bridge and Southwark Bridge.

I wonder what game you Romber fans are watching? Telling people not to pass on information or not allow someone off a bus is not being sneaky? It's one thing not to share infromation, that's part of the game. But to purposely try and put up roadblocks? What do you call that?

And as far as Rob being gracious and all that. Sure, he's gracious when things go his way. What were his comments about India? How about all his little slurs aimed at other contestants. Except for the boyfriends, you didn't hear anybody else insulting Romber.

Sure Rob and Amber are playing a good game, but please take them off that pedestal you seem to have placed them on.

I haven't placed them on any pedestal. I laughed along with you Romber haters last week when he put his foot in his mouth. I LOVE this show. I have watched since Season 1, episode 1 and I am throughly enjoying watching a team doing almost everything right. If they don't win, oh well. Maybe they will make a costly mistake next week. I don't know, I don't care. I just hate to see teams like Kendra and whoever last season win. They whined their way to the finish line and it drove me nuts. I find it refreshing, funny as heck and very entertaining watching Rob and Amber run this race.

And what do I call him putting up roadblocks? I call that good game play and good racing. This is a race not a tea party. If it was against the rules to throw up roadblocks they would have been penalized.

I don't like Rob because he plays dirty. Telling bus drivers not to open the door so the other players can get out, :p

I just realized that the final four player were all four who were in on the deal to keep the back doors shut. And here is an interesting question...how is it any worse that Ron asked the bus driver to not open the back doors when 3 other teams were in on this? Who got mad at the 3 other teams that chipped in the money?

here's my theory:

looking at the previews, Amber must have to jump off that bridge and swim a long way. I think she gets tired from a l of the swimming and Rob gives her a piggyback. Amber has done very little of the challenges. I think it's just her turn to go.

Go Amber and Rob!

sharing lipstick? must be done in the pageants all of the time. YUK!!

I was just wondering something :confused3 -are their flights already paid for -or do they have to pay for them with the money given to them in the beginning of the leg-I thought they had to pay for them with the money received-but didn't they only get less than 200.00 for this last leg and they were able to get TWO tickets from India to England!!! I would love to travel that cheaply!!!!WOW!!! :rotfl:

I think it was $447 and they were travelling from Istanbul, Turkey.

I don't think U/J were in on that. I kind of remember Uchenna telling the bus driver to open the door & hitting the back door. Anyone else remember that?
I do remember Ron & Kelly & Ray & Deanna bringing in on Rob's 'deal' but I can't remember who else.

Hi guys! I watched the episode last night.

Did Rob actually buy the second set of plane tickets? I thought he was just pretending to buy them. I was waiting for Gretchen to say "We'll have 2 of the same tickets" like teams usually do when there is a line of AR racers at an airport. I was wondering how the agent was going to handle that! But ... if they could actually buy 2 sets of tickets, then TTWSNBN would be covered in their deception.

I'm getting tired of TTWSNBN use of a Local Guide. The guide answered all the riddle questions for them and let them to each clue. It went beyond asking for help into having someone else do the Roadblock for you. Remember when Meredith waved off Uchenna's help? "You can't help us!" he said. Uchenna can't help steady a boat for M&G, but TTWSNBN can get someone to solve all their riddles. It just doesn't seem right to me.

I thought there was something where they can buy whatever plane tickets they feel they need. I do remember other teams in other shows buying more than one set of tickets.
Maybe when it comes to the roadblocks, the teams can't help each other. When Meredith said that, Uchenna said "oh, that's right." So I'm guessing it's in the rules. Maybe they can get help from locals, but not from other teams.

I figured it was the case that other teams can't help on the Roadblocks. That would make for more of a group play v/s team play. But ... I still think it's wrong that the local guide with TTWSNBN did all the work for them. And saying that the other teams could have picked up their own local guide to solve the Roadblock doesn't make it any less wrong.

But didn't Ron and Kelly essentially do the same thing. No one went with them.....but they did ask people milling around for the answer.

I think asking for help with the answers at each stop is different than having someone lead you around and tell you all the answers.

I didn't get a chance to rewatch it, but I believe they did actually buy 2 sets of tickets. Ron & Kelly also bought 2 sets - just in a different order. ;)

I don't think their 'guide' solved the riddles. I think they read the clues and then asked their 'guide' do you know where _____ is? Or do you know how to get to ______? Only difference is they had 1 person helping them, versus Ron & Kelly (and others throughout the race) asking different people each time. :confused3

also - from previews - didn't Amber take a digger? falling at one point?

wasn't there a spoiler about someone hurting their ankle on the Rob/amber team?
