You've GOT to be kidding! I don't even know why they're on the show. I mean, Amber already has a $1M in the bank..isn't that enough? I don't understand why CBS put them on this season.

You've got to be joking. Who cares if they've already won once, nothing says they can't win again. Everyone should have a fair chance.

Plus as someone else said, the ratings. I used to watch the show, but then I stopped. Once I heard Rob and Amber were going to be on, I started watching again. The Amazing Race is getting the best ratings it has ever gotten.

Looks like next week is going to be good. I'm still rooting for Rob and Amber, but I wouldn't care if Uchenna and Joyce won.

Okay, I also think I have a little crush on Uchenna. He is like the nicest guy in the world. And he is good to Joyce.

I was going to say the same thing. I don't know about the rest of you but I couldn't be bothered with make-up during the race. It would just end up melting off during all the challenges.

I agree it's the three strongest teams fighting to the finish next week. I think it's anyone's game right now.

I LOVE ROB & AMBER!!!! Weather they need the $ or not, I think their just a better team.

I'm not really sure they're the better team. They're just the luckiest team I've ever seen. Plus, with their Survivor notoriety, they're getting a lot of outside help from the locals. That has to play a big part in their getting ahead of the other teams. I'm not begrudging them this help, by any means. I think it's great and makes for some fun moments. But I have to wonder how they would do if left to do everything themselves.
I'm routing for Uchenna and Joyce to take it all. They're a great couple to watch and I love how well they work together.

So glad all the spoilers were wrong. It was predicted that Romber would be gone this week. Instead they finish 1st.

Which site had spoilers with them out this week? I did read about the betting thing and who the likely winner is but I didn't hear about Rob/Amber being gone this week. Where did you hear this?

Still have my fingers crossed that the betting thing was wrong as I really want Rob/Amber to win!

I think M&G were the luckiest team ever. The only reason they were in the last couple of legs was because of bad play by other teams. They squeaked by most of the race.

Romber should have yeilded U&J so that M&G once again lucked out and made the final three. Then Romber would only have one decent team to race to the end.

I gotta agree that borrowing lipstick is vain and gross.

Amber was right they should've yielded Uchenna and Joyce, if they did they would've been eliminated. Bummer, Joyce bugs me although I do like Uchenna.

ALL of the teams have SOME degree of notoriety in the sense that they are clearly being followed around by a camera crew filming their every move. Somebody looking for their own "15 minutes" could easily be enticed to help out. I think that Rob and Amber know that that is the nature of the beast, and use it to their advantage.

On a side note, I think that Amber contributes a lot to the team, but we just don't see as much of it because Rob is good t.v all on his own!

What is up with that? There used to be some logic, every other pit stop. Now, two in a row...comon'. If that is the case, Joyce should have gotten a trip for her hair. I think Phil has a crush on Rob!

DH and I were talking about this tonight during the show. We also wondered if people were helping them because of Survivor or if people were helping them because they ask for help and it's obvious they have a camera following them. Who knows!

Either way, I really like Rob and Amber and hope they win! I don't care if they already have a million dollars...this is a different game and they deserve the chance to win it! We don't know what the financial situations are of any of the other contestants...some may have been millionaires and decided to do the game for the fun of it and/or the TV exposure. Saying that they don't deserve to win because Amber already won Survivor is silly, IMO, and just as bad as Survivor Africa (I think) when they voted out someone because he was a doctor and didn't need to win the money.

I also thought it was funny that Ron/Kelly were so angry with Amber/Rob-I mean it's a game and if you want to win you need to YIELD the team closest to you-duh!!I too am glad that the spoilers were all wrong and I hope that Rob Amber win!!!!

I thought I heard somewhere---that someone on Team Romber hurts their ankle, breaks it or something....does anybody recall this? Curious--b/c Amber does stumble and Rob ends up giving her a piggy back ride in the preview--but in another shot, all three are racing each other sans back packs.

I would have to disagree & say they are not the best racers the Amazing Race has had, they are just lucky & have so many people that recognize them & help them.
I am so tired of Rob & Amber & a part of me can not wait until the next season starts so I don't have to see them
I still don't see what all the fuss is about them. To me it seems like Rob thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread

I am hoping if they ever have an Amazing Race all-stars that Amber is pregnant during the taping & they have to decline

Rob & Kelly: YUCK!!!!! I can not stand Kelly more so then Rob. I don't want them to come in first mainly because I don't want Kelly to get the money

M/G: Although Gretchen's voice got to me at times, they did give it their all in the race.

Lisa loves Pooh--- Your spoiler I have only heard on these boards. Of course after tonight all spoilers are out the window. The only spoiler remaining out there is the betting spoiler, however since all the previous ones have gone up in smoke makes you wonder if it is not just a smokescreen to cover up the real winner. Anyway, it has made it very interesting to watch.

I think Rob and Amber get help from the locals because they ask them. How many times have you seen other teams ask a local if they would come with them. Rob has even offered to pay some locals to come with them.
Tonight, Ron got on my nerves more than Kelly. I have heard that he is really mean to her and they don't show him as much. I think it was gross of Kelly to borrow lipstick too but it may not have been all vanity. If you wear lipstick every day your lips can get addicted to it and they get very dry and crack if you don't have it on. Her lips may have been bothering her. I know my lips get dry if I'm not wearing it. I would have suffered though instead of borrowing it.
I'm hoping Uchena and Joyce are first, Rob and Amber are second and Ron and Kelly are third.
Did you hear Phil say at the beginning that Ron and Kelly were at the 2nd of 3 predetermined pitstops. Means the first hour next week is non-elimination.

My first thought about Kelly borrowing the lipstick was how gross it was, then I wondered if Ron had been making the same comments to Kelly that he made to the camera about her lack of makeup.

It was kind of funny, when they were going through the beginning of the show (the recap), I said to DH, "Oh no! What's Kelly going to do without her makeup?" Well, now I know... Personally, I don't think she's all that pretty, but maybe she has stage presense. I think Amber's more naturally pretty JMHO.

I think Romber have done a great job in the race. Remember, the celebrity thing works both ways--they get asked for autographs and stuff, too, which takes time, but I've never seen them be anything but polite and friendly about it. I didn't care for them in Survivor, but I'm loving them on AR. They're just so respectful of each other and just having a good time--I've never seen them fight.

Kind of sorry to see G&M go--her voice was like nails on a chalkboard, but she definitely has a lot of guts. And I have to say, I hope I'm as happily married in another 20 years or so--they definitely have a great relationship.

I agree with whoever said they had a cruch on Uchenna--he just seems like a really great guy, very kind and supportive. Ron could take lessons (for his next girlfriend).
