The Amazing Race 6...Official Thread

I gotcha. I wish there wouldn't be so many model/actor types either. This season is definitley full of them. However, I find the prettiest often end up looking the ugliest in the end (i.e., Kendra).
You are so right about Kendra. I couldn't possibly root for her or Jonathan.

From Merriam Webster:
Main Entry: con·cert·ed
Pronunciation: k&n-'s&r-t&d
Function: adjective
1 a : mutually contrived or agreed on <a concerted effort> b : performed in unison <concerted artillery fire>

Doesn't sound like a concerted refusal to me. Therefore if I choose to watch "House" instead of AR7, I'm not boycotting anything.

Or... you're boycotting "House," and how dare you do that. You're risking a patient's life!!!

Okay--blonde moment "House"? What is that?

And a couple talked about not watching AR7--so technically--could be a concerted effort by some Disers ;)

Brandon? The one that wouldn't cut his hair for the fast forward?
(I was laughing so hard at the thought of him cutting it)

Yep, good thing he didn't cut it. It could have interfered with his future modeling prospects ;)

I think it's a new show about a doctor or a hospital. I don't know anything about it and don't know why someone would be boycotting it.

I think it is about a doctor or something on Fox, I don't think anyone is boycotting it, I think that Jimbo was making a joke.....

I really hope that Grog is onto something and they are showing us what is happening to lead up to showing us when they get involved.
Then we would have have one of those "ohhh now I get it" moments...lol

All of us have our faults. Unfortunately for me millions of viewers are getting to see mine each week. I do not abuse Victoria,
what you see is a heighten version of stress and obsession mix with medication for a sickness called Sarcoidosis. What was stared as a publicity stunt turn in to an obsession to race and be first at any cost. This is a GAME and I set out to be the Villain to others not to Victoria. Victoria and I are working on our relationship to better our self and learn form our mistakes. I am taking full responsibly for my actions on screen. Please allow me to make the effort.

I am deeply sadden by the storyline that CBS went with. I am sorry for my actions, I am sorry to Victoria. Most all I am sorry to the Fans of the Amazing Race.

He writes so eloquently...NOT!!! Most of all, he should be really sorry to Victoria for starters. Second, CBS did not go with a storyline...Jonathan gave them that material all by himself. Being accountable for your actions is the first step towards changing them. I don't think that blaming his problems on medication and CBS's editing shows much growth at all.

This guy is just plain scary. It is like when police come to the door and they act all innocent and have a answer for everything. We all saw Victoria flinch and cry hysterically, I hope she gets out of that relationship.

BS! BS! BS! CBS didn't run any story - you can't blame editting. I believe one of the Original Real World Cast members said it best - you can't blame editting. If you said and acted a certain way then that is what they used. You need to work on it yourself and not blame editting. CBS didn't make him hit his wife - he did it on his own.

Is she trying to say they came in 2nd? Oh, please....

Or maybe that is a V for Victory? god I hope not!

Oooh! I wonder if they actually do come in 2nd? They could be in deep doo-doo with CBS. First the poll on their website asking if 2nd place was good enough and now her in a picture holding up number 2?

CBs would have enough evidence to show they gave away info on the show, when they sign a confidentiality contract. Oooh, I hope it is true, so CBS can yank their winnings away!

The "Is second good enough" poll could be about the last show. They came in second. And Victoria could be making a peace sign.

I think people are reading too much into it. JMHO.

That's not the peace sign, LOL! Isn't that an obscene gesture in the UK, akin to giving the middle finger in the US?

LOL! Well, I knew the peace sign was stretching it. I don't anything about middle finger gestures from the UK. ;)

You are correct, in the UK this means the same as the middle finger does here.

I also thought the poll was for this weeks episode over the fight to come in first.

Im thinking we might be reading too much into the V, middle finger or 2 that she is showing...but who knows....im still hoping it isn't for Victory...LOL
