Adam was way beyond strange. He certainly gave himself a bad name.

My tv unfortunately did not cut out. My mouth was open the whole time and I kept thinking "this is owned by Disney?!?"

I had a little AMA party tonight and invited a few friends over a few of them are gay....They were so disturbed and annoyed with how Adam Lambert was "acting". He singing was terrible and very broadway and did he have to face grind that guy and then kiss the keyboard player? Was it really that nessessary?

My gay friends loved everything else including Janet and Lady Gaga. They were all disappointed with Rhianna.

He his who he really was on American Idol, that is why he was so popular, now when his true colors come out, and see that his voice is not all that fabulous, he will lose cred real fast.

So thrilled for Taylor Swift, what a lady! That is what the young girls of today should look up to. What she said to the Jackson family was very sweet and from the heart. I was also happy for MJ too.

But did anyone catch the names of Jermaines kids......Oh boy

my DD LOVES taylor swift, i'm so glad she's actually a nice person. i missed what she said to the jacksons OMG, i saw Jermaine with his kids...i can't remember the other two's names-everything became a blur after he said "Jermajesty" ROFLMBO

i agree...alicia keys was in fine form. kelly clarkson sounded great too-i was pleasantly surprised by the strength of her voice. she's had problems with it in the past. i was a little annoyed with whitney constantly repeating the words to her song over and over. she sounded awesome-the repetition was overkill.

Speaking as one of the biggest Adam Lambert fans.....OMG

I have a feeling that when he watches THAT back, he will be really disappointed in his performance....WAY over the top and too gross and for the first time ever.....sang off key.....I waited all night for that and was totally disappointed.

Someone really really close to Whitney Houston needs to tell her it's time to call it quits. She cannot hit any of the notes she is famous for and basically talked the song. I can understand the applause to welcome her back and she used to be the most wonderful singers we had. All the drugs and alcohol and stress really shows in her voice. She did look really beautiful though.

Lady Gaga may be weird, but she can really sing!

I don't know if anyone watches Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia but Charlie plays this "green man" character and I swear the screams Charlie makes are based on Adam or maybe Adam based his screams on Charlie.

ETA: I LOVE Lady Gaga and she really does have a beautiful voice. I wish she wasn't so "out there" .

OMG. I know why they put Adam Lambert last--they had to wait until the kids went to sleep! I was never an Adam Lambert fan, and that performance just confirmed why. Not only was the dancing, well, gross, but I didn't think that the singing was good either. Made Lada Gaga look like Sesame Street.

I used to be an Adam Lambert fan. Not anymore, though! That was disgusting. And you are right. He didn't sing good either. It was really a horrible performance.

Just watching now that kids are in bed....Lady GaGa is an amazing artist! What a great voice she has and her stage presence is incredible. Rhianna totally sucked-wow I could not believe how bad her performance was!

Carrie Underwood was terrific and I am not a country fan---also the Black Eyed Peas are one band I would not pay to see in person, thank god for Fergie as she's all that saved that performance.

I'll watch to see what else comes up...oh didn't see too much wrong with Jermaine Jackson's kids' names

I hate seeing performers live and it is disappointing o actually "hear" them because its so bad! That is the one thing about Taylor Swift that I love her voice sounds the same on the award shows, radio and concerts.

I also enjoyed Eminem tonight and Greenday...waiting for the disaster Adam Lambert....is it really that bad? Hope they don't black his performance out, afer everyone's comments on here I'm dying to see the "train wreck"!

Ryan Seachrest's skin----can we say he had too dark of tan sprayed on or he baked in tanning bed or sun for waaay too long! Sheesh.....

Adam Lambert...extremely disappointed...sorry no other way to say this....very drag queen type vocals!

It really looked like he fell going up that ramp if he didn't it shouldn't have been in the choreography, what a mess---yikes!

Okay the kiss-----WTH was that?! He wanted to prove he's shocking and not what we would expect well he definately accomplished that, that was toooo much!

Wow. Adam is sure showing us he's not the family friendly entertainer from Idol. Anyone else think he didn't mean to stop, drop and roll on the stage? It looked liked he tripped and made a good recovery. I like the song, but I won't take my DD10 to see him in concert on his own.

I agree about the dropping and rolling bit. I don't think that was planned at all. He did cover well though... all those years of theatre performance paid off.

Even when he was on Idol you didn't have to look hard to find raunchy Adam Lambert. I think it was pretty clear his plan was to push the envelope. But I definitely think he took his performance too far for the venue tonight.

I didn't get to see the first hour of the show, but Green Day did a great job! They sounded wonderful. I didn't like Rihanna and I like Lady Gaga's music but her outfits are so distracting. I'm glad Taylor Swift won, I really like her. Adam Lambert was just weird and over the top.

I agree that there were many hits and misses on that show. I don't think anyone just completely blew me away. But that's just my opinion. I also think Lady GaGa is an amazing musician. The gimmicks and costumes are indeed way too distracting as a pp said. I wish she would drop the circus act and show us what I think she really has which is real talent.

Wow...I had been so looking forward to Adam, but that was just horrible. I was left terribly disappointed and pondering what the point was in all that??? If it was shock value, I guess it worked, but he's such a gifted singer that I hate seeing him take that road. I'll still get his album because I do think he is incredibly talented.

I think my favorite performance of the night was Whitney. She looked beautiful, sounded terrific, and appeared genuinely touched by the emotion from the audience. But then, I've always been a Whitney fan.
