Sheryl - I'm so sorry! How hard for Alexis! I'm just glad that she has you to help her through this. Give her a hug from me, ok?
I'm feeling really good today. It's a rainy, cool day here, and it feels so good! I took the kids to the library today and they all got prizes for completing their July reading! Very exciting. After that, we stopped at
Walmart and did some back to school shopping. I got notebooks for 5 cents, crayons for 88 cents, colored pencils and glue sticks for 88 cents, markers for 88 cents and pens for 88 cents. I love this kind of shopping.
We also picked up new thermoses and sandwich holders for their lunch boxes. I ordered new lunch boxes yesterday from the Disney site. We got personalized boxes that look really good. They were on sale, and I got free shipping on them, too.
Since we got home, Katie has gone through her shirts, and skirts for school. Tomorrow we'll go through pants and misc. clothes. Then we move on to Jacob, and the twins. I try to take each one on a "date" to get their back to school clothes.
Now, I'm resting for a couple of hours before starting dinner. We're having a turkey and stuffing bake. Actually, Katie is putting it together. I'm just going to sit on the couch and give her instructions.
I heard from my doctor this morning, and she thinks it was the heat and dehydration. She said that if it happens again to come into her office immediately. I'm just going to take it easy until our ultrasound on Friday morning!
