We just returned from 4 nights at Pop Century, me, DH, DD who was turning 2 on the trip, my parents and my sister. It was supposed to be 5 nights but because we were driving and my dad and sister needed to get back to work, we had to leave 2 full days early so as not to get caught in Jeanne and her aftermath. We were supposed to leave Sunday night after a nice long day at Epcot, but instead left Saturday morning
Anyway, we drove down, leaving a day earlier then we had originally planned. The idea was to stop somewhere along the way from MI to FL and do something fun, but we ended up just driving straight to FL, only stopping for hotels at night. So, we arrived at Disney one day early and called Pop to see if we could get into our rooms a day early. No problem!
Check-in was fast, maybe a 15 minute wait and that was only because we came in just after a bus from the airport arrived. Our CM was fast and efficient, nice but not overly friendly. She did have some difficutly understanding that we wanted to split the charges for the rooms and have my dad pay for his room and we would pay for ours. The reservation was just under my DH's name for both rooms so that took a minute for her to sort out.
We borrowed a luggage rack (you have one hour to get the rack back or they charge you some outrageous fee) and loaded up our luggage. The CM told us to park in the lot directly across from the main entrance and we could stay parked there because we were staying in the 60's section.
We had connecting rooms, floor 3, 60's building A. We were in the wing that juts out towards the 50's section, facing the lake. It was VERY quiet, we hardly ever saw anyone else and NEVER heard anyone at all, not on our floor or above or below us. The only way we knew there were other people on our floor was seeing the towel animals and displays in the windows.
The rooms are small--really small. I had read about that before I left, but we're not terribly picky people when it comes to room size so I didn't think much about it. We brought our stroller, which isn't terribly large, it's a single Graco Glider. To get the stroller in the room one person had to pull the door back as far as possible, putting all of their weight in it. Then and only then could the other person squeeze the stroller between the door and bed corner.
Also, the door stop is one of those little metal half spheres screwed to the floor. It blended in so well with the carpet, if you went to look out the window you would inevitably step on it or kick it. We met a man in the elevator who said he had just broken his two smallest toes when he accidentally kicked the door stop when barefooted. He limped off the elevator ahead of us and the toes looked pretty black and blue but I have no idea if they were really broken. Soooo, watch out for those door stops!
To close the door to the bathroom while you are in the bathroom, you have to go in, slide back behind the door and then close it because the space between the door and the toilet is about 1 inch

Also, the toilets are really powerful, they reminded me of airplane toilets, the pressure is that strong.
So, those are really the only complaints we had about the rooms we had, and for us those are VERY minor problems. We enjoyed pretty much everything else about our rooms and would definitely go back. In fact we are planning on going back ASAP to finish our vacation as we only managed to fit half of it in before Jeanne forced us to leave. And hopefully we'll be staying at Pop!
(A note about the food at Pop. There is quite a bit of food to choose from, from Poptarts and bagels to shrimp, salmon and pasta. I personally did not eat any of the hot food, but my parents had the pizza and my husband had some sort of pasta and both were pretty poor according to them. The rest of the food got no complaints though, the bagels were soft, the muffins were fresh, the bananas were perfect, the desserts were yummy, the chicken wrap I had was great, the veggie sub my sister had was tasty. The prices were high, but that was to be expected. However, charging $2.50 for a bottle of Coke is...highway robbery!)
