Many other internet forums call it "Topping" or "To the Top" or even "TTT" (to the top). Actually, i'd never heard 'bump' before this forum!

:)

Is there anyway to find out what rooms are non-smoking/smoking, we have our rooms pretty well picked out to make our requests (thanks to all the cool maps) but don't know which rooms allow smoking. We'd like to get ours close to my mother's (they smoke).
thanks for any help.

Ok. I didn't know that!

Downtown Disney question.....
Does anyone know where there is a list of all the games and/or pictures for DisneyQuest???? It will be most appreciated if someone knew where to find this!!!

That's a great question. I want to know too!!!

Well, I'm on vacation for the next 5 days... YAY!

My mother is in town, and where is she staying? Pop Century of course. Check in was a breeze. I spent more time lost at Orlando Int'l Airport trying to find the baggage claim than I did in line. I think we waited a whole 2 minutes in line, before being called up to the desk. We were checked in by one of my favorite co-workers, Athena. She's a riot... And of course, half the desk came down to say Hi to me.

We ended up in the 50's C, with a nice Epcot & lake view. Quick walk to the parking lot, and to Classic Hall. So far, my mother really loves the grounds. She thinks its way nicer than Music, which is where she stayed last time.

We're off now to Prime Time & Fantasmic, and will probably be taking the buses because I really do not want to have to deal with the traffic exiting the Studios after Fantasmic. I deal with that enough working... now it's my time to sit back!!! :)

You deserve a vacation! That's cool that you get to actually enjoy it. Are you staying on property too? I am guessing that you are. I agree with you on the busses...they are a wonderful thing!!!:earsboy: Oh, by the way...what is Prime Time?? Prime Time Cafe? Is that a good place to eat???

I notice Tyler referred to building C (not #3). When sending a fax request for room location should I quite by number or letter or does it matter.

I've started working my way through this thead but "whew" its a long one.

We are trying to decide between keeping our ressies at POFQ or changing back to the Pop where we orignally had them (we changed because of Pop Warner but I now understand they won't be at the Pop).

I read in a different thread that there are views of the Illumination fireworks. Is this true does anyone know for sure??

Thank you for the input.

I know for sure because we stayed in a room where we could see Illuminations! Of course, you can only see the top -not the entire thing, but we could also see fireworks - we managed to time them and we are pretty sure it was MK - it was amazing!

Requrst: 50's building, lake and Illuminations view. It faces the lake and parking lot so it is a standard view. We had non-smoking room #2456, 3rd fl. Yep, 3rd fl even tho it says 2456!!

It's a very short walk from the food court, check-in and bus and there is a pool right there (shape of a bowling pin!) and you walk right past Lady and the Tramp to get to your room!

The DIS photo page has photos of the POP and the Lady and the Tramp.

Any other questions? :)

I referred to it as "50's C" because that's what the original maps had on them... only CM's referred to building numbers.

As an update...

We went to the Disney-MGM Studios tonight. As we walked up to the bus stop at Pop Century (5:45pm) bus 4804 was pulling in. There were about 15 people in line, and about 15 people walked up after we got on, so everyone got a seat. Total wait time: 0 minutes. Total travel time: 9 minutes.

At the Disney-MGM Studios, we ate dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. I've been there before, and had a great time. This time, my experience was less than stellar, although the food was delicious. The pot roast, and the meatloaf are YUMMY. Not sure about the onion rings, since they never came. Oh well.

Fantasmic! was okay... I'm not a huge fan of Fantasmic!, but my mother had never seen it. Personally, I think it's a bit too scary for little kids, and even my padded rear end is uncomfortable on those benches. Oh well.

We arrived at Fantasmic! at 7:40, so our seats were allllllllllll the way in Hades. Not a bad seat for the show, but behind everyone exiting. Despite all that, we made it to the bus stop by 8:40. As we walked up, bus 4779 was just pulling out, and had left about 20 people at the bus stop. No sooner had it cleared the load zone when bus 4713 pulled right in. I never even had to stop walking... just strolled right though the queue line, and onto the bus. Seats were available. Bus departed at 8:45. I was very happy that I didn't have to fight the massive traffic jam at the congested park exit. Despite the traffic, we made it back to the resort at 8:55. Total wait time: 0 (unless you count the time it took to load the bus) Total travel time: 10 minutes.

There's always the Edit button :)

But it's all good. A lot of folks either don't realize, or forget that Pop has 4 floors, versus the All-Star 3. :)
