Bravo!!!!!! Bravo!!!!!!Bravo!!!!!

3 snaps  :teeth:

Thursday we will see it all.

To all you lucky people who will be visiting Pop Century soon -- Tori and I were there in January -- it was WONDERFUL!! We never did find Tyler (sorry about that), but the CMs we did meet were great too! We will definitely be returning. ENJOY!!! ;)

Thanks vor the video Tyler. I loved it and so did my kids. We can't wait to get there!

We got back tonight from a 5 night stay at Pop Century. We stayed in the 50's building (Lady). We had 3 rooms on the 4th floor. We checked in at 11 a.m. and the room was ready. It was very nice. Housekeeping was excellent. She left us little characters made from our towels everyday. We only ate at the food court one night. We had quick bus service and everyone was very friendly. We had stayed at the All Star Movies the past two years. I was really looking forward to POP after reading the boards. Any questions, let me know!

I have a question that I'm sure has been asked before.

Are there blowdryers in the room? I know they are in the MODs and Deluxe, but I don't know about the POP

Thanks!

There are no hairdryers in the rooms, you need to request one from Mousekeeping.

Hi Everybody! We were @ Pop Century from 2-26 through 3-1-04 & it was awesome! We are planning on going back this July. The food was great @ the Food Court & the pools beautiful. We stayed in the 50's Building C & it was very convenient to the pool & food court..a bit of a walk to the parking lot, but good exercise. Have fun everyone! Cathie & The Gang

Okay, I have a couple more questions, tried to look through this whole thread first, but really couldn't find an answer (although I may not have looked hard enough! :p ). I plan on using Disney transportation, so if we are looking to be at the parks at least fifteen minutes prior to opening what time should we be outside waiting on the buses? Also, we are planning on eating breakfast mostly in our room every morning, but I thought one morning we might do the food court, I checked on the menus on allearsnet and all they had was the lunch/dinner menu. Can somewhat tell me what kinds of breakfast foods they have?

The food court has the usual breakfast stuff...eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, biscuits & cereal. We found the menu & prices to be about the same as All Stars. The portions even for the kids meals were pretty good. Enjoy!! Cathie & the Gang

Ok I have a prefered reservation for POP on May 12th to the 16th. Does that guarantee me a room facing the main pool area? Thats really where we want to stay. I know it sounds strange but we want to be where the action is I guess =P We are also a bit lazy at times do not want to have to walk to far to the bar at the pool.

Preferred Buildings guarantee you just that... you will be somewhere in a Preferred building. Those buildings are 4 & 5 (1960's)

If you want a pool view room, you will need to request it. Rooms 4x01-4x12 and 5x60-5x72 will face the pool, with x being floor number.

Sweet thanks, do I have to fax 4 days out or can I just go and request that now?

Hey, do they have stocked refrigerator in the room like they do at the mod resorts? TIA

No. There are no refrigerators in the room-stocked, or otherwise, unless you request and pay for it. The charge is somewhere around $10/night, free if for medical reasons. The fridge comes empty. ;)

Oh, this is a bummer to me - when we satyed at the CBR in '98 for our honeymoon, we raided that fridge everynight! LOL!! DH will be disapointed! Thanks for letting me know, I may have to rent the fridge and stock myself. :earsgirl:

We just returned from our 2nd stay at Pop Century and it was fantastic :Pinkbounc ! We had a great time and even ended up extending our stay! We had a Preferred room- 5207 Non Smoking directly across from the kiddie pool and it was soooo nice to just walk to Everything Pop in about 1 minute! On our First trip we stayed in the 90's building and the shortest walk from there was about 2 minutes cutting across the big parking lot (70's).

By the way, is there any word on what/when Pop TV will be airing?

Thanks a bunch,
Tanya

OK, this might have been asked before, but I couldn't find it.
How early can we check in? How long should we plan on it taking (on June 1st, a Tuesday)? We have PS for CRT at 9:40 for the day we check in ... how long is worst case with the bus? I was thinking 30 minutes to check in and 35min for the bus ride... should I plan on more check in time?
