I'm looking forward to my first CL stay at the Poly this coming April as well. It should be a fantastic week for us, as we are doing our first Disney cruise prior to it. It's hard to not just jump up and yell woohooo when I think about it. Gotta get through the long winter first though, but it will be a light like a sun at the end of that tunnel lol.

Sounds like a wonderful vacation!!!:goodvibes We're thinking of doing something very similar!!!

We asked for a Tahiti room with a ressie for MK view. Now, I don't know because I use an ecv. I hate to be so far from everything but I sure want to see the fireworks and the castle at night. We stayed at the CR one year MK view and could barely go to sleep it was so beautiful at night. Help!

Thanks Wiscmomof2, I can't wait for the Kona wings. How late did you go? I was wondering how late they put the food out.

My DH loved the wings! He even brought a small plate back to the room to put in the frig for 'breakfast' the next morning. :rotfl:

Evening apps are from 5-7. A few times we went in fairly close to 7 and the lounge was still crowded and they were putting fresh food out. I don't know if that's unusual but it's what we experienced. :goodvibes

tarak and Disneenut if would be neat if we did meet each other while we are at the Poly in 2010. As time gets closer we will have to figure out how to identify each other.

We stayed last year in Fiji on the 3rd floor. We had a balcony over looking the marina, facing the Volcano...it was fabulous! Not too far to walk to anything. The ceremonial house was in front of us so you were close to food, monorail and pool plus you woke up looking at water for the Garden View price. We are going in 10 days! and have requested the same bldg and same floor.

I hope you have a wonderful time there! The view is lovely from there.:goodvibes

If I took a plate of wings back to the room I know they wouldn't make it till morning. 5-7 okay I didn't know the times. Thanks

Those pics are getting me really excited for our stay at PR.

When you check in do they still give out Leis?

Yes, leis are given when you check in--this year (when we were there in May) they were placing leis on guests as they came through the door for check-in.

I have stayed in Figi-third floor twice and I agree! I love the location and the view. I was shocked on our first trip thinking we got an upgrade! But all of Figi is considered GV! :thumbsup2

DH & I will be staying at the Poly in a couple of weeks. This will be our first stay onsite and I'm so excited that it's at the Poly!! Are there hot tubs near the pool areas? I didn't see anything in the thread so far.....
