The info comes from folks like us that discover a snack is on the dining plan, check to see if it's NOT listed and then send JJohnson an email letting her know to add it to the list.

Give it a gander so you have an idea as to how to break the Dining plan "code" and see what dining plan snacks are indicated on the menus at the venues!

12 more days for me! only 6 more days of work! I got the suitcases open and half filled right now!

Yeah, totally not Disney related but my eye started bothering me tonight and I just woke up from my pre-night's sleep on the couch. and what do I have? Yes, you guessed it...pink eye. So yummy! I just had to put in for a sub for work so I can go to the doctors tomorrow. How exciting?! Who knows where I got it from but I hate pink eye so much. Well, I am going to bed now. I need make an appointment early tomorrow morning and I still have to get up, take the kids to school, and get sub plans to my school. Ugh. Goodnight all! At least it's one sleep closer to Disney.

Here's something to get you in the Disney spirit- last fall America's Funniest Video's Assignment America was Disney Surprises. I submitted a video of our November 2009 surprise. This spring I got a call that they were using it in a special "non-compete" episode (no $10,000 prize awarded).

I got the call back today that the air date is this Sunday, 5/22. Check your local listings! I'm just guessing that since he called it a special non-compete episode that it MIGHT be overall Disney themed. So it might be perfect for those of us gearing up for a trip!

Mine will be the one where two curly haired girls are at a kitchen table solving a code message, then they look at our calendar to see the trip written on our dates, and much screaming and falling on the floor ensues.

that is just great!! My dd16 is crazy about that show!

Where abouts in MoCo are you? I grew up in Kensington. We thought about driving, but that would mean I would be sitting in the back of DH's Jetta w/the kids since MIL is coming w/us. There is barely enough room for me back there and even short trips are a pain. With gas prices and having to probably rent a hotel halfway down and back, it ends up being the same just about to fly. I don't know if I could stand to be in the car w/DH let alone the kids too for 14 hours. You are one brave soul

We live in Germantown. Yeah, driving through the night with the kids asleep is really not that bad at all. We prefer it to driving during the day or stopping over night.

I managed to get one for 7:00pm on June 16th. I also need to let the OP know that we cancelled our ADR for Maya Grill for that night and we switched it out with the Cape May ADR!

I'm also really hoping they dont change the best parks to visit on touringplans. I'll have to try and change all my ADR's if it changes, haha.

Feel better! Put some warm compresses on it until you can get some eye drops from your doctor!

I've put the family in "quarantine". Hand santizer is around every bend now. I'm so paranoid that someone will get sick the day before or day of our trip. My son had bronchitis all during our last trip, poor guy was so wiped out he only made it half the day. So we're hoping to get more done this time around.

Thanks for the well wishes for the pink eye. Yeah, working with kids it's bound to happen. I just wanted it taken care of before my little ones could get it. They don't need anything else. This year has been horrible for sicknesses, asthma, allergies, etc. We are building a bubble around our house as we speak. The doctor gave me drops so in 24 hours I'm not contagious anymore and I will be good to go. Today I need to wash towels and sheets just to make sure it doesn't spread.

Anyway, you would think that being home today I would get some things done for Disney. I really wanted to get things done like packing things we won't need until then etc. but I just want to take a nap. Maybe I'll pack in a little while.

Ugh, I hear you guys. I'm so worried someone will be sick on our trip. Dh and I have had a cold for over 3 weeks now, it is really tenacious! Last year ds had pneumonia on our vacation...and it wasn't like he was sick and it evolved into it, he apparently managed to pick up the actual pneumonia bacteria and got sick out of the blue.

I think I'm going to get some immune boosting stuff and bring along some vitamin C... just in case!
