Tease!

OK, I finally got on the ball and entered my ME info on the DVC member site.

I also made my ADRs:

Mon 6/26-Via Napoli at 2pm
Tues 6/27-Tusker House lunch buffet at 1:35pm
Wed 6/29-No ADR.
Thurs 6/30-The Plaza at 1:45pm

Wed. is our anniversary and we just can't decide what to do. We'll probably eat lunch at Beaches and Cream or Big River Grille. We're not into fancy food, so we don't really want to make a reservatation at some expensive restaurant. We're planning on going to DHS in the morning, Welcome Home Wednesdays at 2:30, and then probably finish out the evening at MK.

:banana:21 Days until my Disney vacation:banana: I am sooooo excited!!!!

Sunday we had a family meeting to discuss our upcoming trip at my house. We each received our 3D luggage tags and ME tags. I passed out the itinerary for the trip and even showed them the park touring plans that I plan to give to each of them and have a copy laminated for myself. I remember when we initially began planning and how it seemed that our trip was soooo far off, but now it's right around the corner and I still have a few last minute things to do and only 2 paydays to get them all taken care of before the trip :scared1:.

We are at 35 days! I'm glad I'm not the only one planning a family meeting.

I just got the kids some decent walking around in sandals. :thumbsup2

Three weeks from today, and we will have said farewell to the mountains and will be on our way to the palm trees at The Poly! Can. Not. Wait.

Our updated Mickey Mail and our park tickets were waiting for me in the mailbox today, too! Double Prizes! It was a nice surprise since we're all sick in one degree or another--oh well, better here than in Florida. I promised my family I'd take it easy today which means no working out (:sad1:) and playing on the Dis instead (:woohoo:). So, bring on the Photo Safari--whatever that is--sounds like fun.

:yay: I bought some things that I needed for our trip today!!:yay: I am getting sooooo excited now! It's starting to feel real. :goodvibes I think I may start packing tomorrow. :rotfl2:

Just got the suitcases out and carry-on so I'll can start putting a few things together in one place. It's starting to seem real finally! :cool1:

Here's our ADR's for this trip...

Yay! We were wait-listed for a 1BR Club Level for an extra night and it came through!!!! Now, instead of moving to a 1BR savanna view on the 26th, we will spend an extra night on club level! I had to do a one-time point purchase but it's worth the $15 (only needed one). Now I don't have to worry about the 6 points that were going to be wasted.

Our plans now:

6/25-6/27 -1 BR Club Level Jambo House
6/27-6/30 -1 BR Savanna View - Kidani
6/30-7/01 -2 BR Savanna View - Kidani (Aunt, Uncle & cousin staying w/us)

Oh my gosh....I am so far behind. Less than a month until we leave and I have done nothing. Work has me so busy. I keep saying I have plenty of time but that time is quickly passing. It is a good thing I have perfected the art of packing quickly!

Some like it hot team members, as June approaches you and your family are about to set sail on a mission to the deepest and darkest recesses of Walt Disney World. I wish you good luck and a safe voyage. For those of you who are strong and brave of heart, I have a mission for you. A photo safari, ten photographs you or a family member will take this June. Upon your safe and potentially penniless return, post them to this thread for all to enjoy. Are you up to it??? But wait, not just any photos will do. It’s time for the mission list.

1. Photograph a hidden Mickey.
What’s a hidden Mickey? A Hidden Mickey is a representation of Mickey Mouse that has been inserted subtly into the design of a ride, attraction, or other location in a Disney theme park or elsewhere on Disney properties. The most common Hidden Mickey is a formation of three circles that may be perceived as the silhouette of the head and ears of Mickey Mouse, often referred to by Disney aficionados as a "classic Mickey." Over time, the term Hidden Mickey has come to refer to a range of possibilities from a more complete representation of Mickey Mouse (such as Mickey mixed in with a crowd or in the background), or a representation of another character (such as the huge hidden Jafar at the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail in Africa in the Animal Kingdom). Hidden Mickeys are found in various Disney media, such as animated films, feature length movies, TV series, or the Disney theme parks. Mickeys may be painted, made up of objects (such as rocks, or three plates on a table), or be references such as someone wearing Mickey Mouse Club ears in a painting. Hidden Mickeys can take on many sizes and forms.

2. Food! A photograph of a favorite food item from WDW.
Zebra dome or a Mickey bar…. Or maybe the kitchen sink?

3.
Wildlife, photograph an animal.
Be it a duck, tiger or your DH in that swimsuit you should have thrown away.

4. Planes, trains and automobiles.
If you can ride it photograph it!

5. Fireworks!

6. A photograph that represents The Magic Kingdom, but not of Cinderella’s castle.

7. A photograph that represents Epcot, but not of Spaceship Earth.

8. A photograph that represents Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but not of The Sorcerer's Hat.

9. A photograph that represents Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but not of The Tree of Life.

10. That moment in your trip that made it all worthwhile.

Photographic skill does not matter just be creative, think outside of the norm and bring back photo memories that will last a lifetime.

Oooooo Fuun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes Count us in!!!!

I'll get the photos. It's the posting of pictures that I have to work on. This is the same reason why I don't do trip reports. I am so bad with keeping up and uploading pictures. It does sound like fun though.

not going to all the parks, but Will see what I can do to represent all the parks. :confused3

14 days until we are in disney world, 13 days until we leave our house!!
