Thank you. My family will be up and out pretty early too - waited too long for this to sleep through it!I will try to keep the midday break in mind. The mister fans sound like a great idea. I will keep my eye out for some. I have a breakfast buffet reservation for Tusker house at AK for 10:15 on AK EMH day and 11:05 for Chef Mickeys on MK day (not EMH). Maybe we should not be sitting back eating then though?? Would you suggest I try to get something closer to 12:00 to maximize the morning time in the park? (We have DDP) Also, do you recommend that everyone carry a backpack to hold water bottles, mister fans, ponchos, etc? I thought we might be better off having one bag and sharing the load between myself, hubby and my oldest son (12) so that we can rotate it, but now I am wondering if one large bag will worse than a few little ones. The person lugging the bag would be extra hot.
This is our first trip in June and despite the heat and crowds it sounds totally doable with a little bit of preparation. The concensus seems to say go to the parks when the open for rope drop. I've made most of my sit down ADR's for either after 12 (the heat of the day it would be nice to sit down in the air conditioning) or dinner. We got the PH so we can go back to the hotel in the after and swim or rest and then go whichever park in the evening seems like it would have lighter crowds (mainly avoid evening EMH's). We'll be packing mister fans and a frozen washcloth every morning and I bought water bottles that clip onto our belt loops to carry with us. Have to pick up visors or hats still and lots of sunblock. If you don't want to carry a bag throughout the park, they do have lockers. I'm debating carrying the ponchos this year. Sounds like there's a good chance of rain on most days in the afternoon but it usually passes by quickly. It may feel good to get wet, cool you off or we may be back at the hotel resting anyway. So what does everyone carry at the park with them?
I'm trying to lighten my load and really don't want to bring much, thinking about just carrying a wristlet.

I would like our ADR's on there, and I am not making any changes to them, they are set.
New Friday Night Questions!
for a first-timer! I am really glad that I found this site. Thank you for all of your insight.
I know there are probably better times to go when it is not as warm or less crowded but I am hoping if I go into it expecting huge crowds and unbearable heat, I will either be pleasantly surprised or at the very least prepared. Once we get there and the excitement kicks in, I think it will be hard to remember that we cannot do it all. My motto will need to be "water, sunblock, can't do it all, repeat". We leave our house at 3:30 am the day we go to DW, have a 3 hr lay over in Toronto and arrive in Florida 1:00 pm, so before we even hit DW it would have been a long day! We will be staying at BWI, so I am hoping we can hit TL to cool off if we are up to it and Epcot in the evening (if we have not crashed before then). If we are really tired, probably just the BWI pool and Epcot as it is suppose to be 5 mins away. I have created a "schedule" based on the ADRs but will just do what we can when we get there.
Will have them go through their other lanyards and see if there are any they want to add to the trade pile this year.
We start our June countdown on Sun. so after that it will be nothing BUT planning.
