depends on if you booked a package or not. Since I did the whole package I got a little planning booklet with a planning DVD, in an envelope that looks like the monorail train.

Secondly, I got a mailing with collectors luggage tag and booklet with the coupons that you get with the package.

I still have not gotten my magical express tags or packet. :scared1:

Should I call them to see if I'm supposed to get one of these packages? We booked a Magic Your Way package, and all we've gotten is our ME stuff (which is the more important one, I know)...we leave in 23 days, and I was looking forward to those "collectable" luggage tags and the other stuff that's supposed to be in the package...:confused3

still didn't get my mickey mail, I am so impatient, I'm 35 days out so I called and they said they were just mailed yesterday. Now I have to wait patiently........:rolleyes1

count me in!

I just booked a quick adults only trip for June 3- June 8. Celebrating my sisters college graduation, the two of us are going for a (very!) quick Disney trip. Adding in a Universal day for WWoHP and we will be VERY busy. Super excited.

When: June 3 - June 8
Where: POFQ (first timers here!)
What: As much as possible!

Yay!

I added you to our list. I love POFQ. Good choice! :thumbsup2

Update from our clan: added an extra night :goodvibes now checking out on the 18th. Now to see if I can change Fultons to Sat instead of Fri for lunch.

Oh and we may give up a 7:15pm (I think) Chef Mickey's ressie on Thurs. June 16th. Let me know if you are interested and I'll change the name on the ressie instead. It's for a party of 14 so I can do a few if need be.

1) If you could create a character meal, who would you include?

Pirates of the Caribbean

2) Does your family have any last night or day traditions at WDW?

We eat at the Crystal Palace and always spend our last night at MK

3) What is one resort in which you are not interested in staying and why?

Anything not in WDW - spent years at dirt cheap motels in Kissimmee as a child and jealous of everyone on property.

4) If you could give one piece of advice to someone planning Disney trip for the first time, what would it be?

Make ADR's and have a touring plan

5) What are three things that you consider "must haves" one you are packing for June WDW trip?

Sunscreen, wet wipes, and something to entertain the kids while you're waiting in line or for your table

6) Do you buy photopass?

Yes - but now I am more aware of the benefits and will keep an eye out for photographers.

7) Have you done any tours and if so, which was the best?

No, but DH would like to do the tour in the Land pavillion

8) Have you ever visited a first aid station while at WDW?

No and hoping to not have to this upcoming visit!

9) What is the longest you will wait in line for an attraction?

25 minutes

10) Have you ever been selected from the audience to be part of a show, parade, etc.?

No, not a big one for getting in front of a crowd. Girls always go out and dance at shows such as HSM and at Biergarten.

I just saw a post with pictures of the crowds and I am now terrified!

Will it be that bad in June? The rope drop pictures are awful. We are planning to be there at rd but is it that bad & even worth it?! I'm hoping that these pics are a worse case scenario? Please help me understand & feel better :goodvibes

As other posters have said, rope drop has a crowd, once the park opens though and people go their own way you will have plenty of room. It is so much better to be in that little bit of a crowd early in the morning than it is to be in the massive crowds later in the day.

i am showing ground transport online. :confused3 do i just call the same number i would if i was changing my reservation package? or is there a seperate DME number? i think i am going to give it a week. if i get down to 20 days left and not gotten it i'll give them a ring. sound good? :confused3

I would call now. Our trip is split up into 3 different ressies because we are doing room only/prem package/dining package and I have already received DME tags for all of them even though I really only needed them for the first part.

I would call, it doesn't hurt anything to ask where your stuff is. I know that it's not a big deal to check in without it, but there are some coupons that you might want and I'm not sure if they will give those to you at check in or not.

I just changed my departure flight from July 2nd (when we were originally going to come) to June 24th. Unfortunately, it cost me another $132. Fortunately, it's on Southwest and I don't have to pay for the two checked bags I'll be taking with me. :rotfl:

I haven't been following the Fantasyland expansion very closely because we hadn't planned to go to WDW this year. But now that we are going, I'm wondering what will actually be closed?

I called and CM said they will send them right out. Not sure what happened, but lets hope it arrives within a week. :thumbsup2

ToonTown is completely closed but as far as the rest of fantasyland, I think all the attractions are still open. Snow white is the only one confirmed to be closing completely as a result of the expansion but it's still open for now I believe.

Tiki Room is the onlything allears lists as a complete closure for June (a few others reopening the first week)

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: <--THIS IS ME! I'm doing the less-than-5-week-countdown!

Yesterday I ordered my annual pass and emailed the rest of the family regarding their ticket options. I'll probably order them all for everybody but I want to make sure they know what they are getting. I'm pretty sure my BIL is going to FLIP when SIL gives him the TICKET TOTAL for just the 3 of them. Imagine how I feel when I'm purchasing tickets for 5 people and I'm getting park-to-park tickets for Universal and an annual pass AND we're going to order the TIW card too?! I'd happily change places with them on the ticket costs! :rotfl: :rotfl: The good news is that our room was FREE thanks to DVC...which makes it easier to pay for the tickets! Plus the food...let's not think about that? I've decided to save my Disney Rewards Card to use on our trip there and I'll probably earn enough rewards points on my other card to get another $100 Visa gift card as well. That might make it a little bit easier for us.

Did I mention this month I also have to pay for the deposit on our cruise and our train reservations? OUCH! :scared1:

Yep looks like we'll be spending our summer trying to pay this stuff back off...but it's Disney and it's worth it, right? :confused3

:scared: <-- THIS IS ME thinking about those bills!

28 days from today we will be flying down I-10 toward the happiest place on Earth. We're at the exactly 4 weeks mark!
