only a few left, I will save them for next time ;)

Thank you thank you thank you! All the information helps. We are staying in the CL and getting the Platinum package. I am just one of these worry warts that wants it all perfect. Thank you all so much for the reassurance.

That's so sweet of you to say and I am glad that you got to experience such magical moments with your little girls at the beautiful GF! I don't have a sister either, so I am just so happy for my little girls to have that wonderful sisterly bond. They loved the GF so much that they insisted we go back this year. I am thrilled to be able to take them back. Be sure to read my trip report in Sept! ;)

Shoppgirl, I have to agree. I just read your trip report and it's making me want to change from the Poly...lol.

I wanted to ask, my girls are going to the BBB for the crown package. Does it include that little crown or do you have to buy them seperately?

Thanks. I hope your next trip is as magical as your first.

IF you stay standard view in the RPC, what are the chances of getting a view of the lake or MK? The description says it could be either of those or the courtyard pool.

I started putting in all sorts of dates to the reservation system to try and get a deluxe room in the RPC to come up, but couldn't. Are they really always sold out? View is important to me, and the courtyard view would really disappoint me.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear you weren't thrilled by the offerings, and I think this is an example for everyone to be aware that club level offerings aren't necessarily a replacement for meals. Its been my experience that its great for a light breakfast before going to the parks, and a quick bite to eat coming or going from the room, but there is still a great variety of foods at the restaurants that keep the palette entertained!
Personally when my family and I have stayed Club Level at the Contemporary and Polynesian we found the items they offered can be a meal replacement, so I guess everyone will have a different opinion about that.

The crown package we bought came with the hair style, makeup, nails, face jewels and sash. If you choose the Fairy Tale Princess style (the high bun) then the hair accessory you get is the rhinestone tiara (and there are a few different styles your little princesses can choose from!) and a little mickey head hair clip at the back below the bun. If you choose the Disney Diva style, you get the faux hair (extension like that is supposed to match your own hair colour). If you get the Pop Princess style, you get a colourful hair accessory (ie hair extensions type things they clip to your hair) and Mickey shaped clips.

You can buy extra crowns and mickey hair clips in the gifts shops, but with the package they are included!

Thanks for reading the report. I am sure your stay at the Poly will be just as exciting. We are looking forward to exploring that resort on our next trip this year and have dinner there one night!

Wishing you a magical trip too!

I am worried about this as well. I have a few rooms booked but I am using a planner that I think will be able to help me. I have 4 standard club level rooms booked now and don't want to take the chance that I won't get a good view.

After speaking with with my planner and the IPO it doesnt seem like there are many of those deluxe rooms at all. I am not sure any of them have an MK view either.

I agree about the light breakfast and quick bites! It's also nice to be able to have a glass of wine in the evening and for my daughter to have an assortment of sweets to choose from princess: But I do agree with the PP that the offerings can get monotonous if you are there for more than just a few days...

I haven't stayed in a standard RPC room yet - only Deluxe RPC - but FYI, even the Deluxe RPC rooms are not all MK view. We have had views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Polynesian and Wedding Pavilion and the Waterfall pool. These are lovely views :cloud9:
I believe that k&a&c'smom has had courtyard views from a Deluxe RPC room she has stayed in...
Anyway, good luck and I would just recommend having "Magic Kingdom View" as your #1 request on your reservation and also through Itinerary Planning. And ask again at check-in :thumbsup2

There are Deluxe - King - RPC rooms that do have MK views. They seem to me to be the same square footage as standard GF rooms but they have jacuzzi tubs, King beds and love seats. No wet bars, though. They are above Gasparilla's.

Thanks for the information! I need a deluxe room though with 2 queens. At this point the space for us is important.

all the views from the main building are beautiful so I really doubt you would be disapointed. there are rooms in the main building that face the MK, if you go back a few pages you can see my pics, I just got back. But just remember this is request only. you can't book a standard room and pay more for an MK view. you CAN however book a honeymoon room (but keep in mind this sleeps 2) MOST honeymoon rooms have an MK view.

Have a wonderful trip in September. I will definitely read your trip report. I'm sure you have a kinds of new experiences planned for your girls -- so much for a couple of princesses to do and so little time!

You're welcome :)

I have seen photos of the Deluxe RPC rooms with 2 queens and they are very spacious! I'm sure you will love it if that's what you end up with.

Last summer, I was able to get a Passholder rate on a King Deluxe RPC room and, since I was traveling with only my daughter, I booked that. My first request was for a "turret room" - we had been in one the summer before and it was my favorite! (there are only 6) But we were given one of the Honeymoon (jacuzzi) rooms instead. Nice MK views :wizard:

Good luck with your reservation!

I had a deluxe room booked earlier and was asking about the view. I was told that there are 4 deluxe rooms with queen beds in them and that NONE of them have a view of the MK. If you book a Deluxe room, you're guaranteed the extra space but have no hope of a castle view. If you book a regular RPC room, you know you wont get the extra space and you have a chance (less than 50%) of a castle view... Tough decision...Hope this helps.:)

another thing to remember...the standard rooms are really spacious anyway, so it's not like everything else is small and the deluxe is the only good room. The rooms are plenty big enough for 4 people in my opinion, and, when we all hang out together anyway we tended to hang out in the lounge where there was more than enough room anyway:thumbsup2

Thanks, for all the info. I was seriously considering switching from our LVCL at the POLY to RPC as I would love to stay in the tower, but without the guarantee of a water view at minimum it just doesn't seem worth it. I know if we got a bad view, I'd be feeling bad that we were paying more for a view that isn't as good.

I love the looks of the rooms at the GF, so bright and cheery, where as I think the POLY ones seem so dark. But I guess when it comes to trading an awesome view for a bright room, we'll just have to stay put this time.

I just read on a site (great orlando discounts of somethng like that)that the Sugar Loaf doesn't have wine with it's evening offerings. Is that true?

there are not any bad views. even the courtyard views are beautiful. we have stayed in the main building 3 times and had MK views twice (once was a honeymoon room) and a view of the pool and part of the lagoon/poly another time. we took time to stay in the room a lot this trip sow e really enjoyed it but the other times we were never really in our room to worry with the view a whole lot anyway. Just so much to do!
I do like the Poly though and it would be my 2nd pick, but i would rather stay RPC GF than Poly lagoon view any day! good luck

Can I ask why? I'm just trying to sort it all out. If you leave pools and hot tubs out of it, because although my kids will swim, they aren't really part of the equation, can you tell me what you love more at GFCL than Poly CL. I would reallly appreciate some input from those who have stayed at GF. I've visited there many times, and it's beautiful, but can you explan the advantages to me. I just don't see how looking at a courtyard pool can be as good as watching wishes from my patio/balcony or watching the electric parade go by like I would be able to from the the LV at the POLY Hawaii building.

But seriously, I can't stop thinking about the brighter rooms. Can you tell me about the food at the RPC? What about outside at night. Is one resort brighter at night. I know the POLY can be a little dark, and the last time I was there, I got eaten alive by mosquitos, but I'm not sure that wouldnt' happen at the GF too.
