I'm pretty sure all of them are in the lobby area, one on the corner closest to the monorail, the other on the corner closest to Big Pine Key. 2 per floor, floors 3-5.

I keep going back and forth on my room request. I think I'll call, and nix the request for Conch Key marina view and go for Boca Chica pool view. I think at the end of the day, I'd rather gaze out at the Grand itself and look at all the lights surrounding the pool. I just hope I don't end up behind the pool house!

Thanks, allseas. Our only RPC stay we had a room in the teens and this morning I was picturing the rooms numbered the other way if that makes sense. Not enough tea I guess.

Try not to over analyze the room request too much! It's hard, I know. Both are nice views, the Big Pine Key pool view is nice as well (like you said, as long as you don't end up behind the pool house!)

Sometimes I agonize over my requests, and in the end it doesn't make any difference anyway, since it's just a request. I've had a marina view from Sugar Loaf and think I'd prefer a view of the courtyard gardens and pool, but that's really such a personal thing. I do love the location of Boca Chica and Big Pine though, since they are so close to one pool, not far from the other, and a nice, pretty walk straight to the main building.

4021 (which has an MK view) if off the lobby. there are some towards the backside of the buildigns as well (or is that considered the front?) lol!

BCV23 - as everyone else has already said, those rooms overlook the lobby. When you step off the main elevator, you go to the left and around the lobby atrium, that turret room is the first door. It looks out over the courtyard and also over the themed pool and to the wedding gazebo.

I say do it early in the morning or at night maybe? I doubt it will be too crowded. Sorry i don't know the rates!

Scott I dont think that you'll be sorry with that view...it really is just beautiful..when you are checking in just ask if the rooms are on the pool house side and if they are ask for a change...the GF CMs are really so nice!

Loralie Welcome back! So glad that you had a good trip...sorry about the rain though!! We had that on our last trip...pouring rain for several day...but like you Id rather be at the GF in the rain than home... Looking foward to hearing more about your trip and seeing the pics too...

They charge per piece, and there is a separate price for laundry vs. dry cleaning. The current laundry price list is as follows:

Pants - $6.50
Socks - $2.00
Undershorts/Panties - $2.00
T-shirts - $4.50
Sweatsuit - $7.50
PJs - $6.00
Undershirts/bras - $2.00
Handkerchiefs - $2.00
Blouses - $5.50
Slips - $4.50
Nightgowns - $6.00
Tennis Shorts - $5.00
Knit Shirt - $5.00

Hello everyone. We are thinking of staying at the GF next year for the 1st time and I have a question about parking. We always rent a car when we go and it seems the self parking might be quite a ways away. Does anyone know how far of a walk it is to the parking lot? I see that they have valet parking as well. If we decided to go with that option are the waits usually very long to get your car?
