Ohana!!! - Sorry to wade into the thick of this mess and change the subject, but that would probably be welcome, right?

Anyway, Ed and his brother went to the Vacation Club presentation when we were at WDW and came back pretty impressed. I seem to remember your explaining why the VC is not a waste of money as it might seem, but I have no idea if it was at the mansion, the Island, or where. Do you by any chance keep a "ditty" that you can re-post, or do you remember about when you posted it? We have to decide by Sunday night if we want to buy in, in order to receive 150 free points for next year, and I know you feel strongly that it's cool. I do wonder whether it's better to buy straight from Disney or whether to purchase a re-sale. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated. Feel free to PM me if this won't interest anyone else.

I figured out that if you go more than once every 2 years it is a good deal. I have lots of math and stuff on how it works, tell me what you would like to know and I will be happy to walk you through whatever you would like.....

A couple of things to remember, Saratoga Springs goes until 2054 and the rest only go until 2042.

When figuring the cost, you must remember the maintenance fee.
Each point costs you about $6 to use, so when comparing Resort prices, if 5 day package were to be 100points, it would cost you $600 effectively.

Hello TAGLIARCHY! I love the Island extension. You guys really are all so nice. It's like a crazy family, even with arguments!

I'm looking for a house with my DH. It will be our first. We need more room for the cat.

Our realtor is a great guy, very down-to-earth and won't lead us astray. He was recommended by friends of my DH who bought a wonderful house earlier this year. I hope we get the same kind of result. We're pre-approved for the loan (I have awesome credit! Yay!) and so we basically just have to find the right house.

It's exciting but scary. We'll be in debt for 30 years!!!!

I am excited for you. It was 2 years ago when NC Beast and I decided to get our house. Now it is even a better time to get a house. Just make sure you lock your rate in if it is possible.

Seriously, Laura. one thing I can recommend are payments on the Principle. if you make an extra bit of a payment every month, it can shave years off of the loan. (does that make it less Scary?

Tink.. we bought DVC many many years ago and that was the best investment that we have made... we now vacation in a 1 bedroom, with a full kitchen, washer annd dryer for next to nothing.. we own at OKW we have the lowest maintenance and best price ... check out aresale OKW before you buy SSR..

I don't about that, MD. It looks like the Tagilarchy may disappear with people getting hurt feelings over misunderstandings. I hope whoever is involve will feel better about things soon. I don't want to take sides. People just please forgive each other and agree to disagree on certain matters.

When I first joined Tagliarchy I was amazed that everyone had such a tight relationship mwith eachother. And I would relly hate to see that disappear. I want everyone to get along, be on buddylist(BUDDY), and come to the thread and talk with each other. Not just ignore the thread. So can't we all just get along please.

Don't get too blue--You are going on an awesome trip. You can help keep The Coffee House on the front pages for NC Beast. He works a lot during Tuesday nights through Sat. am.

Good morning all,
It is a beautiful day here in England, it is forcast to get up to the mid 80's later (quite rare here!) Right now I have just put the last coat of paint on my walls outside and am just about to get a shower - why is it that paint goes everywhere?!!!!

Then our friends are coming over and we are going up north for the day. We are going to look around the sculpture park that our university was in (Pete and I met at uni, it was a 17th centuary mansion set in several hundred acres of country park with 2 lakes and a nature reserve!) The place is stunning, especially in the summer. Then my parents like about 15 minutes away from there so we are going over there for dinner.

[COLOR=006633]MonorailDude[/COLOR], the closer the people are to you the more the fights hurt. I have noticed some trends, but for the most part we (as a comunity) are still fairly tight. I still look forward to meeting everyone in October (if the AP rates ever come out and the ones with no hotel ressies can book a room! ) Seriously, this will all blow over and we will be better off for it. As far as a Gazillion Pages, well, you plaays your quarter ya takes your chances. I don't think the thread is moving that fast at the moment. BTW, I read RRBB your post and I think she is sending you a PM..

Now let's see, RRBB is going to see Princess Diaries 2 this morning, (Nieceosaurus and her are going to be bonding) I have to workm speaking of which, I am late for work... Gotta run.
