Thanks for the welcome and the answers! Do you know which resort the buses share with? Is it more than one?

generally CR shares with GF, Poly, and WL. The exact combination varies depending on the time of day ect. However CR is always the first to be picked up and the first to be dropped off

bus routes are always changing so for an accurate schedule be sure ask upon check-in

I inquired about the current Atrium Club lounge offerings and this is the response I got back from the CR IPO:

"Unfortunately, we do not have a standard menu for the lounges as offerings are subject to change, and in the case of the evening service, the hors d'oeuvres, sides offerings, and children's selections change daily. If you have any allergy concerns, I'd be happy to research which items may be of a problem and should be avoided."

I already discussed this briefly on the Poly thread, but I wanted to make sure it was on the CR thread, too. From what I've read so far, Poly and AK CL's are responding in the same way to menu requests.

The CR IPO is kind of right and kind of wrong based on my experiences. When the Atrium Club and Tower Club had the old menu for the two different hot hors d'oeuvres and their current menu, those items listed that are served from Monday - Sunday never once changed. However they are correct that each day there were different side items.

Don't forget they would usually share with both the Polynesian and Grand Floridian only in the afternoons. In the mornings they would share with the Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge, however the pick up has always started at the Contemporary.

Does anyone know how big these are square foot wise, they look a lot bigger then the regular rooms. Also how comfty is the sofa bed? The picture posted in the thread shows two couches and a big dining room table, is that correct or did I read it wrong? Thanks in advance.

We are staying in a deluxe room in a few weeks and that picture post has me confused as well. The pictures that show the big dining room table are labeled junior suite so I don't think they are for the deluxe. I can't post links yet, (will try on the next post) but on the old 2008 Contemporary thread there is a link to photos labeled deluxe room. The rooms still look quite a bit bigger in those photos, but the dining table and some of the other furnishings are not shown. I don't know the square footage of the deluxe room and have been wondering that too. There is also a nice video on Youtube that shows what I think is a garden deluxe.

Here are the links to pictures and video of what I think are the deluxe rooms. Since we have not stayed there yet, I could be wrong, but I hope not. This will be our first stay at the Contemporary and we are looking forward to the deluxe room.

Okay, we are almost at May 1st. Are they done with ALL the upgrades of the pool area?

I would love to see some pictures of the final job without any construction fences.

If you go back a few pages I believe others who just stayed there said the fences are still up, however the pool and everything around it has re-opened.

I was at Disney last week. The fences are still up around the pool area. A lot of ground was still all dug up and it looked like they were installing pipes. The main pool and the quiet pool were open.

Yes there are two elevators and there are soda/snack machines. We were on the third floor in the garden wing this past December. It was terrific.

Please forgive me for asking a stupid question. But do all the rooms at CR have a balony/patio? According to the Unofficial Guide they all do, but according to the Passporter, some do, some dont. Can anyone answer this for me?
