Personally I would check-in with the Cast Members and etc, so at least you can mention your parents reservation and find out what they say about the connecting rooms. I don't know what your chances are of actually getting them, however it's better then not asking.

Thought I would come back to the CR thread to ask a few questions! One thing I wanted to know is..can you hear the sounds of MK (music,etc.) from the balcony of your MK view room?? I think that would be really cool!

You can hear the full sound track for Wishes on channel 20. So while you stand outside on the balcony put the TV on in the backround, which will make it feel like your inside the Magic Kingdom.

According to their menu they have Waffles topped with bananas and salted caramel, however I am not sure if they are shaped like Mickey. As for pictures there might be some if you look way back in the thread.

I know for certain that the waffles are Mickey-shaped at CM, but I don't recall CC's. I'm sure someone else will know.

You can hear the horn from the train as it passes through the front of the park, bits of music from the parades if the wind is blowing right, the pyro blasts from the castle shows. Also, these aren't exactly MK sounds but you can hear the boat horns from the Seven Seas Lagoon. I'm looking forward to hearing all of those sounds again a week from today!

I just called and changed my reservation from room only to include the dining package as I have an annual pass I didn't need the tickets. When I received my reservation confirmation it shows Contemporary Garden View Wing even though they confirmed that it is an Atrium level bay lake view room. Has anyone else had the same problem...I am just nervous that somehow are reservation is going to get mixed up.

Garden View Wing is definitely NOT Atrium level. Your invoice/confirmation should have the words "Atrium Club Level" somewhere. Have you checked "My Disney Vacation" yet? Look there and see what it says. If it's the same, then you'll need to call the WDTC/CRO to inquire. Just have your confirmation # handy.

Let us know what you find out.

I checked my Disney Vacation and it shows Atrium Club Level...so not sure why the email confirmation is different. I am going to call back tomorrow...I spent 2 hours on the phone getting everything switched over and I am all talked out.

I'm glad that at least you can go to bed knowing that your reservation is correct in "My Disney Vacation." I can fully appreciate why you don't want to call again today.

When you call, you can add any room location requests to your reservation, if you haven't already done so. If you'd like your bed to face away from BLT and toward FTW, WL, DTD, request an odd numbered room. If the noise from CM's might bother you, request, "Far from Chef Mickey's."

I have never heard of that happening before, so I would call them back tomorrow if that has not been fixed on the website.

Also for my families August 2009 reservation we originally had a Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View, which we reserved online and that's what our e-mailed confirmation said. However when I looked it up on the WDW website it would say we had a 2 Bedroom Villa reserved. Since I knew that was not true based on the e-mail confirmation I called CRO and the Cast Member confirmed that. So I guess it's kind of similar to what your going through.
