We booked our Pirate & Pal's voyage at the 180 day mark too. I lucked out with all my ADR's- got excatly what I wanted I actually slept in that morning and woke up in a panic thinking there would be no way that all my requests would be filled (I've heard of tsories where things fill in hours). I called my time (Pacific) at noon. I think the fact it was Christmas Eve worked in my favor

It's located right outside the doors you would use when walking toward the bus station, so you can not miss it.

I checked on iTunes, and I'm pretty sure the songs I heard were Jonas Brothers' "Lovebug," Demi Lovato's "Don't Forget," and Enchanted's "How Does She Know."

That's all I remember hearing, because I got annoyed by the Disney pop and closed our balcony door (we were in the tower, BTW).

I am sorry you got annoyed from the music but maybe it had to do with the floor you were staying on. My family and I were on the 12th floor and maybe we didn't hear it since we were that high up, so I am just saying what our experience has been like.

That could be it - we were on the seventh floor, but we were only there for a night. So it wasn't a huge issue.

Do they allow air mattresses to be used in the room....We are bringing my nephew with us and I am not sure if the two older boys are going to want to share a bed....There will be 5 of us total.

I am not sure about that however 5 people is the total limit allowed in the room, so for that you will be ok.

I have not stayed here yet, but we always use air mattresses at the Boardwalk, because even though there are only 4 of us, my kids cannot share a bed. We have never had a problem.

Sometimes they do play different music there. The main pool definitly plays more new music. We always hear the loop I like at the quiet pool.

Sometimes, though, they do different things. Once we heard the lobby jazz music loop playing out there. In December they were playing Christmas Music out there the day we went.
Plus, in the afternoon,when they do the activities, they either turn the loop off, or you cant hear it anyway.

I would not update the loop with new pop music from disney. yuck, I like the old loop too much to do that

But if the loop goes away, at least we will have it to listen to on the site!
I'll just change the wording to say "this is what used to play!"

I'm glad you like the loop! we love it! it was very important to me to get it figured it out before it went away. some day it will I'm sure.....

Whenever I feel nostalgic for the "old" WDW (even though I didn't start going until the 90's), I take a peek at the many great archival photos and wonderfully written text/commentary. I always learn something.

I hope the CR and the other Deluxes can keep themselves from falling prey to WDW's marketing dept. forcing every pool to play the Miley-Montana-Jonas-Lovato-Gomez songs. I hear enough of that with a DD11 in the house. When I'm on vacation I need to hear the songs Craig put together for all of us CR pool music "fogies"
