You and me both . For someone who never considered staying at the CR, I am very excited . Reading about everyone's experiences as well as the views, I am glad I booked the MKV. Now to just wait for December to roll around .

We've only experienced a MKV once back in 2002 when we stayed over New Year's. Though there is nothing like standing in front of the castle the watch the fireworks it is truly magical after a long day to step out onto your balcony and enjoy not only the fireworks but all the lights and sounds of the MK

So I did some tweaking to our June reservation yesterday. We were booked at CR BLV 6/8 - 6/17. Unfortunately the last 2 nights aren't covered by the Spring discount so......

I changed our dates at CR to 6/8 -6/15 and upgraded to MKV

Still saved over $1000.00 and booked our last 2 nights at our other favorite POFQ. Works out even better since we are going to Cirque de Soleil on 6/15 and will be able to take the boat back to POFQ.

Always great to save some money but even better to be able to watch the fireworks from our balcony and lay in bed watching the castle change colors

While I love the BLV we had this past November for $400.00 difference with the Spring discount it was so worth it to upgrade to MKV

Congratulations on getting the Magic Kingdom View and I say it's worth it, because at least you get to experience it once.

Forgot to mention when we watched the fireworks on New Years Eve we could also see the special fireworks from Epcot. You will love it

Good call on the date tweaking. POFQ now has all queen beds and you can have those yummy beignets! Sounds like a great vacation

Did you request an odd-numbered room? That way, your beds will face toward the MK so you can watch the castle while you're in bed.

Back in 2002 when we stayed CR MKV our beds faced away from the castle still an amazing view but hoping this trip to lay in bed and watch the castle

Just got a warm fuzzy feeling all over!! There's NOTHING like watching the Castle turn colors from the comfort of your comfy CR bed!!! Enjoy!!!!

We just returned from a wonder 6 night stay in a MKV room. We have stayed at numerous resorts, including BLT, and I must say the CR is the most magical of resorts. As a kid I was in awe of the monorail going right through the center, and you know what....I still am

We had an even number, however my family was in the adjoining odd number. Also, we were almost directly above Chef Mickey's. Yes, we heard "noise" but by the end we just started singing along

I keep getting more excited after reading new things about the MK view . The only bad thing is that every great thing I read makes it that much harder to wait 10 months to go . Thanks for all of your input .

Glad you had a wonderful trip . Noise from Chef Mickey's wouldn't hinder our trip at all either.......I could see my DH and both of my DSs putting a positive spin on things and singing along after awhile .

Here is something else to remember. During Wishes if you turn on channel 20 it will be playing it's music, so it's almost like your inside the Magic Kingdom.

But, no matter what view you have or if you're in Garden Wing, staying at CR is fabulous. Love it, love it, love it!!

Congrats on booking a MK view . We are booked for our first CR stay for the end of this year and I also booked a Tower MK view . While the CR has never been on our list of resorts to try, I am getting excited to stay there, especially with a MK view . Have a great trip and I hope you'll report back about your stay .

It's posts like this that get me more excited to try the CR . I have 10 months to go, but reading the Dis gives me my daily fix . I hope we love the CR as much as we do all of the other resorts we've tried .

The MK area is our favorite too . We love trying new resorts and have had great stays every where, but when we're not close to MK, we do miss the monorail and being in close proximity to that magical park . I can't wait to hear your review when you return . I will post back as well, although I have 10 months to go .

I have been checking the pictures from the first page and I am noticing that the balconies are different sizes. Is this true? Are the ones in back bigger than the ones up front? (i.e. Bay Lake View vs. Theme Park View)

Just booked a BLT deluxe studio - standard view today for August 5th-12th for my honeymoon!! I just wanted to share.

I've checked out the room list but I'm hoping I could also hear from you guys personally...How is the "standard" view from the studio? Lots of luck with good views or no? I think I'll love it either way (especially since I've stayed at BLT before, but in a 1bd-lake view), but I do love hearing from other people about their experiences!

There is no MK view rooms for july for my honeymoon.... I really want to stay at CR or GF however GF is out of our budget... We recieved a 30% off pin code so maybe thats why there isn't any MK view rooms. I'm afraid when we check in we will be stuck with a garden view room and I really want MK view I wonder if they would upgrade us for our honeymoon

Their balconies on both sides are exactly the same.
