WOW! You've waited a long time - congratulations on booking! What room view did you book?I am so excited! I've booked a Bay Lake Tower room for October and I cannot wait!I have wanted to stay here for 40 years, ever since I first rode the monorail through the resort in 1972 when I was 5. I have spent all day reading the whole thread and have loved all the great pictures and helpful info!
Yippee! It won't be long now. Have you ever tried The Wave's breakfast buffet? I highly recommend it.I'm getting more excited by the day!!! Less than a month until our very first stay at a monorail resort, BLT!!!!!!!![]()

Oh, I thought you wrote that you were booked at Bay Lake Tower, now I understandThanks! Yep I've been 15 times since that first visit but the CR was always more money than I wanted to spend. Thanks to a great discount I'm finally getting to stay there
I booked the Tower with a Bay Lake View. The discount I had didn't have a Theme Park view available (which would have been my preference) but my husband's first choice was BLV so he is thrilled![]()
I have also been able to see the Characters In Flight Ballon from Downtown Disney when it's up in the air.We love the CR's BLV because there aren't any roads or buildings when you look straight out (just BLT to the left and the garden wing to the right). You just see the lake, the marina and ol' Discovery Island where there are always plenty of birds circling around. You'll be able to see the Electric Water pagent every night around 10:05. You can even see some of Illuminations off to the right. You're going to love it!
I AM EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!Enjoy your stay!!!!

I honestly don't think there is a difference in how the Bay Lake View will look, no matter which room you are assigned or the floor. However if you want to avoid getting a room over Chef Mickey's and hearing that song they play there every half hour when it's opened, request a room away from there.I have a question. We, well I'll admit it, I decided to upgrade the room we originally booked to a BL View at the CR. Is there a better area on that side to put as a request? Or are views fairly decent no matter where? The most I've seen from the CR is the monorail in past trips and wishing our budget could afford it so I have no idea.
Thanks for posting your review.Just wanted to share that we stayed at CR from the 31st 'til the 7th (Garden Wing) and enjoyed every moment. It was a lot of fun and my son thought that waterslide was too cool...eventhough we were only able to use it Jan. 1st (got too cold after that). One special final moment (just before we left to check out) was when a pair of ducks (we named Donald and Daisy) came up to the glass patio doors and looked in as my son laid on the floor and looked out at them. I took a picture, it was too cute. Since this morning was -30 degrees Celcius with the windchill....I want to go back...
If anyone has any recent photo's from their trips. I would love to see them. My family will be going in October for MNSSHP. I am so excited, I check this thread everyday for a little magic!
I am sorry to say that can't be done.Is it possible to see the Main Street Electrical Parade from a TPV room?
