Has anyone had the room service pizza? It is any good??
Is it the same as the pizza at Contempo Cafe?

I had decided to do online check-in just in case there should be a convention or other large group staying at CR when we are do to arrive. Is there anyplace that lists what conventions are staying at what resorts and when?

In my past searches I've only found a listing of some upcoming conventions at CSR.

I get an idea of how crowded it might be by periodically going to the WDW booking website, plugging-in my dates (at rack rate/without codes to get a better idea) and seeing which room categories appear as available at the resort.

Since you can only do online check-in 10 days or less prior to arrival, you can get a pretty accurate estimate of how booked they are close to your arrival date and before you even do online check-in.

A group of us is staying at BLT in a few weeks on a paying reservation. How much laundry soap is included in the "start up" supplies?

I have read on DVC threads that if you are receiving daily housekeeping, meaning you have a cash reservation, then your toiletries and box of Tide will be replenished by the housekeeper as needed.

If you are staying on points (which you're not), you will only receive toiletry and Tide replenishment when your room is serviced, which is every 4th day, unless you are paying out-of-pocket for more frequent housekeeping.

I know I have noticed then end of Oct becoming booked up after I changed my dates , there are no longer any Tower TPV or BLV showing for my original dates , I know the pin# for 40% people seem to be getting (not me of course )is good for the week of Oct 23-29.
Going by Touring Plans projected crowd levels for 2011 my week looks good but I am sure it will change before Oct.

Chef Mickey's is located in-between the Contempo Café and the Outer Rim Lounge. All you would have to have in your reservation is "far from Chef Mickey's" and the room assigner will definitely know what that means.

We are staying CL will the noise from CM be an issue in any of the rooms? I am wondering if I need to make that a request.

I can't seem to find a map of the floor with CM. We have a theme park view and I see that the rooms ending closer to 48 have a closer view of the MK, but are further from the pool (the pool being closer to the 25 end). So, which end is CM on?? If only I could find a map of the 4th floor!

A while ago someone posted that they ordered the Pizza from room service and that it tasted horrible and I don't think it comes from the Contempo Cafe.

Personally I would just walk over to the Contempo Cafe and order their Flatbread Pizza, plus it would be a lot cheaper then the room service cost.

Chef Mickey's is on the left side of the 4th floor, so it would be farther away from the Magic Kingdom if you want to look at it from that prospective.

I think the Magic Kingdom View is great, however only you will know for sure if you like it.

Besides the Resort Monorail you can also walk to the Magic Kingdom and that's actually the faster way. The Resort Monorail will stop at the TTC, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian before it arrives at the Magic Kingdom.

It is much faster to walk to the MK from the CR than to take the monorail. It's about 8 minutes to walk to the MK and at least 15 minutes to take the monorail, not including the wait time at the CR for the monorail.

The monorail from the CR goes first to the Transportation & Ticket Center where you can transfer to the Epcot monorail. It then goes to the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and finally to the MK.

I forgot to say that coming back from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary if you take the Resort Monorail they are the next stop, so you won't have a long ride. Plus you can also use the walkway in the opposite direction should you not feel like waiting for the Resort Monorail if you just missed it, although one usually comes along every 3 - 5 minutes.

We stayed Atrium CL on the CM end and could only hear noise if we were standing with our ears to the room door. I had seen so many complaints about the noise, so I had to check it out!

Going by this post, we were on the right side of the 12th floor with no ill-effects from CM. If we had been on the left side, it might have been loud.

I don't have a picture but I used it last month. Its on the 2nd floor of the Garden wing. It has six washers and six dryers. It also has a tv to watch while your in there.

That is great! Is there places to sit? At the mods and values there is no place to sit and wait which isn't to bad there because you can walk right out to the pool area but with it being on the 2nd floor at the Contemporary that is not a possibility. BTW- thanks for the reply.

There are two chairs with a small table in-between. There is also a folding/sorting table in-between the washers and dryers.

The cost is $2 per washer/dryer and you can pay by swiping your KTTW card.

I notice that your ticker is for CR/BLT. I'm sure you already know that your villa at BLT will have a stackable washer and dryer in the room and Tide is provided.
