Does anyone know if dedicated and lock-off 2BRs at BLT are assigned at the time you make you reservation or if it's assigned at the time of check-in? I'm trying to figure out how I would tell from my confirmation whether I have a dedicated 2BR or a lockoff?

When we made our reservation last year for Club Level Bay Lake View our reservation also said 2 Bedroom Villa, for some reason when you look your reservation up online it sometimes has 2 Bedroom Villa but if you check the email it should have the correct room type on it.
For the Atrium Club - Bay Lake View reservation we had this past August everytime I would look it up online it would say the correct room category and I think it's because we made the reservation by phone since it was a Bounceback rate. So I find it very weird that when making the same reservation online there is a mistake in it's room category calling it a 2 Bedromm Villa, because you would think there should be no confusion on their website between calling or making the reservation online.
 
Can someone point me to the image of the cut-away floor plan of the BLT buliding which shows room numbers and categories?

I have a question about BLT. Do the deluxe studios have the sliding panel in the bathroom wall or is it just in the 1 & 2 bdrm villas?

I have a question. Are taxis readily available at the CR? I'm going next August with my Mom (71) and I know that at least once we're going to want to take a cab instead of relying on Disney transportation. Will I have to call for one in advance or are they usually around? Thanks.

Taxis are right nearby at the TTC. Bell Services can call for one. They are located inside next to check-in and outside at the porte cochére or you can call Bell Services from your room.
 
Thanks for posting all the information about Bay Lake Towers. That is my husband and I's next top destination. I hear it books up very quickly, and it's not my home resort, so I will have to make sure to be on the phone with Member Services right at the seven month mark.

I don't know how quickly Bay Lake Tower books on points. I do know that it isn't very difficult to book on a cash reservation. The BLT owners on the DVC Planning forum would know all about that.

Does the contemporary rooms still have computers in them? If so do you have to pay for internet. Thanks for help :)
 
They had them last time we were there in 2008? Wonder why they took them out :confused3 So we will have to bring our laptop then?

We were there June '10 & there were no computers in the rooms. We took a laptop but never had time to even worry about getting on the internet.
 
They had the in room computers during my first stay in 2007. They were part of a test program for an online concierge service. When I went back in 2009, they were gone. I asked at the front desk, and the CM told me the CR has never had computers in the rooms. I tried to explain that they did for a little while, and even offered to show him the pics I had of it :rotfl: Another nearby CM then heard our conversation, and said the test program had ended, and apparently they decided to do away with online concierge.
