This may seem like a silly question, but....

I have recently seen pictures of the CR closets and it looks like there are not any hangers in it. Are there hangers available? Or should we bring our own if we want to hang things up?

Also, how many drawers are there for clothes, etc?

thanks!!
They have hangers located in both of the closests that are in the little hallway although I don't remember seeing a huge number, so maybe you could request more or bring some of your own to be on the safe side.

As for how many drawers I remember seeing 3 of them and they are located right by the glass table and chair.

There are 2 drawers in the desk area and 3 very small drawers for underwear etc in the closet, not much space, the closet has 5 hangers and when I asked at the front desk for more they said the most they could give me was 10, I have to admit for a room that sleeps 5, traveling with myself, dh and 3 teenagers I found the lack of space for unpacking really aweful at the cr, 2 drawers and 10 hangers for 5 people, I pack really light, only 2 suitcases for 5 people for 10 nights and found it almost impossable to unpack here, 1 of my teenagers lived out of his suitcase the whole time which is not aweful but a room this size should have more drawers or at least more than 5 hangers.

Just got back yesterday. There were 2 drawers next to the desk area & 2 in one of the closets.

Here is a picture of their fridge and I would say yes it can hold that much Milk.

The fridge in our room (just got back yesterday) had a small freezer area & only 1 shelf. More like the picture of the fridge someone else had posted. We were in the garden wing room 5141.

We've had the fridge you described (with freezer) and the one pictured here. Both units held 2x half gallon milk containers with plenty of room. The unit with the freezer was nice as we were able to freeze 3 bottles of water to pack for the parks.

An easy way to expand "fridge" space is with a Styrofoam cooler from Garden Grocer. With the ice machine right down the hall, you're set - this works well for us.

Good idea. We rarely use the fridge for anything other than water bottles and a leftover dessert, but I know a lot of people need them.

Well the only thing I can say is maybe the fridges in the Garden Wing are different then the ones in the Tower rooms, because we never had a freezer in the fridge. There was a setting to make it colder but that would mean stuff like bottled water turning into ice.

So we are staying on DVC points at BLT next month:banana: My friend is the DVC member, I am just the Disney Addict. She requested at 2 Bedroom MK view. WHat floor does this start on? The charts on the first few pages confuse me. :confused3
Would hate to have have a view of the parking lot or the monorail...

Thanks in advance. :goodvibes

Well, we were in the room right next door to you at about the same time and these are photos of our freezer:

Here is the link to the BLT Room Views thread. The chart shows the dedicated 2-bedrooms start on the 1st floor. However, MK Views start on the 3rd floor.

We just returned from our trip to the Contemporary. We had an upgrade from the Garden Wing/Garden View to the Tower/Bay Lake View. I was worried right before the trip because we had received conflicting emails about the upgrade but everything worked out fine. My only room request was for a room without connecting doors. When we arrived shortly after 2:00 pm the CM said our room on the 8th floor was ready. When I asked about it not having connecting doors, the CM switched us to the 6th floor but said that room was not ready and we would have to wait until 3:00. He gave us a $25.00 credit for the inconvenience and said we could use it for a light lunch while we were waiting! How nice! We saved the credit and used it at The Wave for dinner!

Our room and view were FANTASTIC! Best room/trip EVER! :)

It will be hard to go back to Pop Century. Heck, it will be hard to go back to the Beach Club after this! :rotfl:

We've actually had both types (with and without the freezer) in the tower. I guess everything needs to be plug-n-play as needed with that big of an operation. :)

Nice deal! We really like the Tower/Bay Lake View. Gotta love how accommodating they are at Disney. I read a lot about Disney slipping, but we did not experience that at all last week - to use the Hatter's term, that Disney "muchness" was there in full force!

Thanks for posting that review and congratulations that the upgrade was true, plus I am sure that $25.00 really helped and it was nice of the Cast Member to offer it.

As with most things at Disney, the answer will depend on who you ask. My wife wanted more hangers and called housekeeping. They asked her how many she needed and then sent them right up. There was no 10 hanger limit. Thus, my recommendation is to call housekeeping if you need more hangers.
