I just did the online check-in, but it never gave me a place to write in requests. I was wanting to request a bed rail for my DS2 and I was wanting to request a room on a higher floor as we booked TPV. What should I do now?

Call the WDTC/CRO and have them place your request in your reservation. The room assigner doesn't see your reservation until about 3 days prior to your arrival, so it should still be taken into consideration when assigning your room.

Also, when you arrive for your check-in, you will still encounter a CM who can help you fulfill your requests.

I agree, although with the online check-in if the room is ready then is there anything the Cast Member working that desk can do, if the person does not get their requests and etc?

Someone recently posted to an online check-in thread that if all your requests aren't met and you want to pursue it further then the online check-in CM can defer to a manager who can attempt to meet your requests. I've not done it personally though.

Just got back from our first stay at BLT and we absolutely loved it!!! We loved it so much that we decided to take the plunge and bought a DVC membership there. We are so excited! Thanks for all the great info on this thread. It really helped us in making the choice to stay at BLT in the first place

That's great news! We had a BLT 1-bedroom reservation for August (would have been our first stay), but DH got deployment orders, so I switched resorts since DD and I don't really need such a large room. We're hoping to re-schedule BLT for next summer as soon as the '11 discount pins are released.

Thank you I think our first official trip home will be in March 2011. We haven't booked yet but it looks like that may be the time. I'm still kind of stunned by the whole thing. We weren't planning on buying into DVC right now but once we saw how huge the 1 and 2 bedroom villas were we were sold!!

I guess it's true that there are times when non DVC members stay at a DVC Resort it makes them wanting to become members after staying at one.

To access the Top Of The World Lounge you need to be a DVC member staying on points at Bay Lake Tower. However you can always watch Wishes from the 4th floor observation deck at the Contemporary.

Is there more of a difference between the Presidential Suite and the VP Suite other than the view? From the floorplans, they look the same, except the Pres. has an MK view and the VP has a Bay Lake view. I must be missing something.
