OK....so if you're staying at Bay Lake Tower, where can you watch Wishes from? Do cash (not DVC) guests at BLT have access to the Top of the World Lounge?

TIA! :thumbsup2

You can also watch from the bridge between the CR and BLT.

In addition, every elevator landing in BLT affords a fantastic view of the MK and Wishes. You could take one of the elevators to the 14th or 15th floor and pretty much have the same view as the lounge.....perhaps minus the music. I meant to walk out during Wishes last week to see if by chance the music is played. Rather doubt it though.

Thanks! :thumbsup2 Because we're travelling with our three year-old son and my dad, who has some mobility issues, I'm seriously considering upgrading to a MK view room. How well can you see Wishes from the balconies at BLT?

Exceedingly well. We've not even booked MK view but two of our three villas have enjoyed incredible views of Wishes.

Thank kind of makes sense. Thanks!

Here's a thread that might help explain it.

MK view villas face directly at the park. Lake view villas may face Bay Lake from the inside of the "C." We had one like that and loved it. Zero view of Wishes from there of course. We've also had a standard view villa on the third floor and a lake view villa on the 14th which faced North. In both of those villas, you just had to look a bit to the left for a great view of Wishes. Hard to explain just how good it was due to the curve of the balconies....it wasn't like craning our necks. I would never book that view hoping to get a view of Wishes though as it's a long shot. As it happens we enjoy the direct view of Bay Lake as well as the lucky North villas so plan to always book lake view.

Is there more of a difference between the Presidential Suite and the VP Suite other than the view? From the floorplans, they look the same, except the Pres. has an MK view and the VP has a Bay Lake view. I must be missing something.:confused3

This might not be much help, but here are photos of the Pres. suite:

And, the VP suite:

The sq. footage isn't listed for the VP suite, but the Pres. is 1998'.

I will be staying at the Contemporary in 181 days (but who is counting??). I would like to go to the gym and was wondering if there is a fee? If there is how much is it? Than kyou to all who respond!

It's free for those guests staying at the Contemporary, all you do is show the Cast Member working at the desk your KTTW card and nothing more.

We are staying at BLT 1 bdrm villa, lakeview soon.:yay: I have a request in already for "close to the skybridge". I'm considering changing it to "5th floor, south tower". Which request should I use?

Does anyone know if you can see the electric water parade thing from a MK veiw BLT room? If not, where and when can we see it? Do you have to go out to the beach? We are going in Nov, will it run every night? Sorry for all the questions, I just think it sounds neat and that the kids would like it.

I have seen it from a Magic Kingdom View room in the Contemporary, so you can also see it from that same view at Bay Lake Tower.

For the definitive answer, I would use the BLT Rooms and Views DVC thread:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082

A South Tower request could put you inner or outer facing. Meaning, your room could face toward BL/CR (outer) or toward BL/BLT pool (inner). The room assigner might not know why you're requesting the 5th floor, so I would probably mention "close to skybridge" and then your tower preference and inner or outer if you have a preference.

Have a great trip!

Yes, it will run every night. It stops at the back of the CR around 10:05ish. If you don't want to go out to the beach, you could also see it from the 4th floor concourse windows. You and your kids will love it!
