Marshay - I just wanted to let you know that I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything goes well with your surgery and that the results are positive.

DW and DD finally got started on their scrapbooks. I'll try and post some pics when I can. It seems my part of the Road Trip is a more pressing issue though!!!

As I climb my cat-toonish mountain, I send best wishes to all who are climbing REAL mountains!

Just a quick note -- everything went well...supposed to rest today so going downstairs to either watch Ocean's 13 or Live and Let Die (figure a nice action movie would be good!)

Definitely post the scrapbook pages -- somehow my scrapbook room got overtaken by junk...I hate the way everything accumulates...got to re-organize and then I can start back in. However, I'm going to the Dulles Expo Center in 2 weeks to take two classes in the Great AMerican Scrapbook Convention. One of them is a Disney Cinderella Castle Dreams Come True Scrapbook!!!! I can't wait!!!!

Just a quick note -- everything went well...supposed to rest today so going downstairs to either watch Ocean's 13 or Live and Let Die (figure a nice action movie would be good!)

Hi All!

We had our Dress Rehearsal last night and our show is this afternoon at 2:00. Wish us luck! The students were all so excited..oh how I love seeing their faces when they see the real theater and how our year comes to it's climatic moment! I hope this afternoon is a treasured memory for them!

Just wanted to pop in....but I must go finish up some last minute details.

Wow, it was great! No problems and everything went extremely well. The kids all had a great time and that's what it's all about! I took a picture of Skinny Minnie when the show was over and we were breaking down the set, but I think it was too dark. I'll see if the picture turns out, but at least I didn't forget about her! We even gave her dress a little "bling".

Off to enjoy a day with the family.....we've been so busy with recital prep the past few weeks that we haven't had any family time lately. So out to the backyard to enjoy our 100º day (yes, really, 100º) Boy that water slide will be SOOOO nice!

Wow, it was great! No problems and everything went extremely well. The kids all had a great time and that's what it's all about! Mrs.F. - Congrats on the recital! I'm glad everything went well. It sure sounds like you enjoy teaching dancing and it seems you really have a passion for it. My DW always wanted our DD to do the dancing thing. DD was never interested in that or cheering. Enjoy the time with the family! We've spent the last 2 weekends cooling off in the pool while the temps have been in the mid 90's.

HMF - I hope everything's going good with the job(s). So, how's the book and have you won any money yet with the cards?

3G&G - I hope you made it through the storms without sustaining any damage. We had our fair share of storms and tornadoes back in March and April. We haven't had much rain in a while and it's starting to get HOT!!

Thanks MadBrad......there is always such a relief when the curtain finally closes. And not all kids are interested in dance..lots of activities to choose from nowadays. As long as they find something to enjoy that's what matters. Our kids kinda didn't have a choice.... It was in their their blood!

Oh yes, it is D-Man! Funny how you remember that?
The funniest part was that he was so excited to get to his spot on stage that you could hear him in the wing say "Ka-Chow" and then he RAN past the other kids and took his spot on his red X.

Sorry all the pictures are from the wings....Eric needed to stay backstage to work for me.....so we only have pictures from that perspective.

My cousin died on Thurs (48yrs old) of Liver and Kidney failure, thats as much as I know at the moment.
Will try to get back on tonight and see how many green lights are on!
