Well, it's going to take me some time to catch up since I have not been on the computer too much lately.

But there was some business to tend to, and that was to upgrade my avatar to a Cat-O-Tar!!!!

So, what do y'all think? She did a fantastic job, right?!

Good... thankfully I'm familliar with the system they use, so it was easy for me to adapt.... now it is just a matter of learning their way of doing things.

Hey Ann!

Glad to hear things are going so well!

I've only been to WDW thru December 25th, never after, so I can't comment on the crowds. But even if it's really crowded, it'll be cooler than summer, and all the decorations will be there! It will be so fun!

Keep us posted on your new business as time allows...

We just went to DW this past Christmas (12/22 to 12/29). We had a great time, but it was crowded. Our key to success, get up early and do the early entry every day. We were able to accumulate some fast passes (save them for later in the day) and ride the rides while it was not too crowded, but by 11:00 - the parks were packed. Especially the Magic Kingdom. There were a couple of times we know of when they actually closed the gate to MK as the park was full to capacity. Afternoons were reserved for resting or swimming (kids of course, not me) and then it was back to the parks for the evening. We also took advantage of the Extra Hours in the evenings (not every evening, too exhausted) Of course, this plan only works if you stay on property and not have to drive to the parks. We stayed at Boardwalk Villas, so most evenings were back to MGM and EPCOT. It made for a great family holiday together (35 total), but not something I would do every year, if you know what I mean!!!!

I am trying to get the picture of Skinny Minnie from the theater...not working because it was too dark and my camera isn't the greatest. I'll keep trying....anyway......I think Minnie has spent enough time at this crazy house. Anyone want a visitor? If so just PM me and I'll get her bags packed, buy her a bus ticket, and send her on her way. First one who volunteers gets her....

Look who arrived today! Man, for such a petite mouse she sure does come with a lot of luggage!

She'll be hanging with us through Sunday. She's requested that she stay long enough to see the dance recital this Saturday. So, not wanting to disappoint Minnie, of course I will accommodate her request. Check back the next few days....I bet she'll be having some fun!

Just a quick note -- everything went well...supposed to rest today so going downstairs to either watch Ocean's 13 or Live and Let Die (figure a nice action movie would be good!)

Definitely post the scrapbook pages -- somehow my scrapbook room got overtaken by junk...I hate the way everything accumulates...got to re-organize and then I can start back in. However, I'm going to the Dulles Expo Center in 2 weeks to take two classes in the Great AMerican Scrapbook Convention. One of them is a Disney Cinderella Castle Dreams Come True Scrapbook!!!! I can't wait!!!!

Wow, it was great! No problems and everything went extremely well. The kids all had a great time and that's what it's all about! I took a picture of Skinny Minnie when the show was over and we were breaking down the set, but I think it was too dark. I'll see if the picture turns out, but at least I didn't forget about her! We even gave her dress a little "bling".

Off to enjoy a day with the family.....we've been so busy with recital prep the past few weeks that we haven't had any family time lately. So out to the backyard to enjoy our 100º day (yes, really, 100º) Boy that water slide will be SOOOO nice!

Now its off to a funeral home today and a funeral tomorrow.
My cousin died on Thurs (48yrs old) of Liver and Kidney failure, thats as much as I know at the moment.
Will try to get back on tonight and see how many green lights are on!

Just got on around 4:15pm or so...waiting for my dining room furniture to arrive!!!! We got the floor installed, the walls painted (it's pretty wild -- blue, purple and pinkish-white! ... next is new lighting and a cool wall mirror. We might get a custom mirror made at our local glass shop...price is about the same if we pick it up instead of having one delivered/shipped. Now we just have to draw it out -- it'll be a curvy oval-ish design.

Nothing unusual has happened yet.... and I've met a few cool people that I'm clicking with. Everyone has told me though that this department needed a shot of humor quickly as it was so "serious" all the time and thankfully they hired me and I've brought the funny. I'm adapting pretty well to their systems, I've use the programs before so the training was minimal.... it was just learning they different ways they do things. Sad to report though there is only one other Disney fanatic in the office.... and she loves Tinkerbell! So we chat about Disney and all that.... she has one boy and is about to have a baby girl.... I'm already helping her plan a Disney trip when the baby is old enough! LOL!!

Hope all the fathers out there are having a great Father's Day! It is raining and muggy here in Massachusetts... but I'm still going to my parents later and attempt to grill out.

You're more than a shot of humor, you're more like an avalanche! (I mean that in a really good way.) If that's what they need, they hired exactly the right guy. I'm glad you have at least one Disney pal.

Good stuff coming in the next few weeks (CMO related believe it or not) I was shooting for last week, but a returning ulcer knocked me out for a little longer then I had expected. I was in so much pain I couldn't concentrate on working on anything. Feeling MUCH better now though (thank goodness)

I'll post here as soon as my little project is done and ready for you guys.

Glad to see the thread still going...slowed down or not!
