The Adventurosity Club

Ok.... so I have a bit more time for an update.... everyone is at the pool, but I'm all "sunned" out right now.... we did the Sea Raycer boats this morning out of the Polynesian, so I've had enough sun for the day. :rotfl:

Anyway..... we are having a blast. Sunday we went to Universal.... Monday was Sea World, and then yesterday started our Disney madness!!! We went to the Studios in the morning, home for a rest in the later afternoon, then to Epcot at night to walk around the countries and caught Illuminations. We went to O'hana on Monday night.... the couple with us had never been before and weren't sure what to expect..... we all left very full.... actually we all left in a lot of pain from being so full. (Anyone that has eaten there knows what I'm talking about)

This morning we ate at Kona Cafe so the newbies in the group could have their first taste of Tonga Toast.... I had the Big Kahuna which was French Toast, Eggs (which I gave to DH, I don't like eggs), Macadamia Nut/Pineapple pancakes, sausage, ham, and bacon. I ate like a champ! Then we hopped on the monorail as breakfast settled, then onto the Sea Raycers! I love doing the boats.... there is something very cool about being in the Seven Seas Lagoon, passing all of the Disney transport boats. Tonight we are headed to Downtown Disney for some dinner and hanging out.... and tomorrow we are headed to the Magic Kingdom. Crowds have been pretty minimal so far, which is a good thing.... but we are coming up to Memorial Day weekend. I'll post more if I get a chance.... yay for pirating internet!

I need as much help voting as you can provide please. I have a long way to go and a short time to get there. (This Friday evening)

Pass the links to everyone you know...maybe we can pull together a winning rally.

voted again :thumbsup2

So, as I'm working on posts for the CMO website, emails, new threads here, and other various forms of communication . . . here are a couple of teaser tidbits from my recent trip . . .

1) Disney's Hollywood Studios at 5:00 in the morning (two days in a row!)

2) Taking two familys on to Toy Story Mania along with members of the Disney/CMO team and Homer from the Dream Squad . . . and we were the only people in there.

3) Visiting "Dream Central" - the backstage home of the Dream Squad at Epcot.

4) Eating a Mickey's Premium bar in the back stage home of the Magic Kingdom Dream Squad with at least 20 or 30 members of the squad.

5) The Utilidors

6) The control towers for Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.

:)

wow!! I can't wait to hear all about it!!!!!!! :hyper:

Hey everyone.... just wanted to drop a quick note to say "Hello"!!! Mickey and the gang say "Hi" to everyone also! It is HOT down here.... today it was like 91 and tomorrow is supposed to be 94, yikes! But thankfully there is a nice breeze every day.... the internet is spotty so I can't go back and check all that I've missed.... but I wanted to pop in and say that we are having a great time.

well hello there! Thanks for posting live from WDW! Now get back to those parks so you can have a nice report when you get back! :rotfl:

Oh, I love, love O'hana and Kona!! We took my parents to O'hana in Sept and they didn't like "meat on a stick" ?????????????????????????? Whatever.;)

I love eating there -- just so much fun and wonderful food!!

Sea Raycers are the best!!!

Glad to hear crowds are minimal. Did you do Toy Story???

I've heard about that Tonga Toast. It looks SO filling! I might just have to try that someday to see for myself!

Looks like y'all are keeping busy (in a good way)

thanks for the update!

thanks for the link. I just went over and checked them out. Y'all look SO GREAT!!!!

Awww, thanks! It was fun and the pics turned out better than I thought they would since the sun was so bright it was making us squint a lot.

I know I would have a HUGE problem with that. I would have to book at JUST the right time so that the sun wouldn't be in my eyes or else I'd end up being referred to as Sunglass Face here on the DIS....:rotfl:

HMF - Thanks for bringing us along! It's great to hear about your fun times. Mmmm...Kona Cafe. And then zippy cute boats - way to go! Double thanks for the postcard!

Marshay - You guys are adorable. The pictures are so happy and spirited - I know you'll have lots of fun with them.

Hey DISNY4ever! Good to see you!

For those of you with "cat-o-tars" -

I've been thinking - you might be ready to change your avatar and or your signature.

BUT...you might worry that it would hurt my feelings if you stopped using my cheesy little drawings.

NO Worries - this is the public announcement that says everyone can stop using the cat-o-tars whenever you want!

Hi there everyone! :wave2:

HMF, thanks for the postcard....and for sharing your trip with us. Can't wait to hear more when you get back. Until then...get a litle sun for me, would ya? :beach:

Hope everyone is doing well out there in Dis-land! :lovestruc I miss our late night massive pages of posts......we should plan a post-fest sometime soon. I'm having withdrawal! Plus, I didn't know how much I looked forward to my new friends until they went MIA!

Seriously though, I miss you guys! :guilty:

Oh, and color me totally embarrassed - I was working in my office and found the stack of contact sheets that I forgot to mail? I completely thought I did! I must need some memory medicine! I know I emailed the list, but the other one is coming.

Are you kidding me? I LOVE mine! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I just have a small second to pop in. It's been so hectic here. If you know how I lived you'd know why it's taking so long to get our house ready to list. The painters finished on Saturday and we've been putting the house back together ever since then with a small break to pick up my sister, BIL and nephew at the airport plus have my last school board meeting of my short lived career. It was sad and I cried a bit (I'm a sap). They gave me a beautiful cherry wood clock with an engraved plate on the side. What a nice group of people they have been and I'm so glad to have gotten to know people that I would not have met otherwise. Kind of like here...glad to know everyone that I wouldn't have met if it weren't for the CMO contest.

Anyway, I'm thinking of all of you and probably won't be posting much for the next several weeks. My sister leaves on the 29th and we leave for Morgantown that same day to look at houses. I don't know why we are doing that when our house hasn't even been listed yet, but we've got to make some forward progress.

I hope to talk to you soon, and hope that I can connect with Circus girl and Mr. A in Seattle on the 18th of June.

WHAT!?! :scared1: (Okay.... Cat must have been drinking in the back of the bus with KigerKat's colleagues! At least, that's the most logical explanation I can find for her most recent suggestion!!) My cat-o-tars stay in my siggy! ;)
