You're so silly! Go to bed, Liesa! I forgot to say good bye! We're leaving on Friday for our cruise - like I said on Cynthia's TR, playing Planes, trains and automobiles to get there! I'm sure you can relate, only we aren't bringing children! Don't get too far ahead! Pray for us! TTFN! :wave2:

I was in bed by 10:30, I was so exhausted!

I can totally relate! Sounds like LOTS of travel is going to happen! That's always stressful! But I have to admit, going on a cruise with just adults sounds like a lot of FUN!!

OMG you Doofus! That is SO something I would do. Oh wait, I did do that 2 weeks ago!

:lmao:

I want to know the train part...is there more than the MCO train?

How did you screw up turn out?? Besides being rather embarrassed, it worked out ok last night.

What a shock that must have been! But it sounds like everyone had a nice evening anyway! I guess it will be one of those stories you will get to hear for a long time! :goodvibes

Well, if I had checked my FB account around 1:00, I would have been completely aware of what was going on. He had asked for directions on there.

I am really happy to be reunited with my sewing machine and have great plans to make some more tote bags/shopping bags. I have had this project going for quite some time as I think those would make great little gifts. :goodvibes

My really nice, expensive one is in about several dozen parts. I need to get it in so I can start my quiliting again. I find myself at all kinds of events that it'd be good to have some hand work at.

I too would love to see what you're working on! Do you sell them, or just give then away as gifts, or use them yourself??

Back before kids, Judy and I went on a short-term mission trip to rural, Appalachian Kentucky. One expression we learned is that when company shows up unexpectedly you say, "I'll just knock a tater on the head, 'n churn".

In Kazakh they say, "hang on, let me go kill one of my sheep."

Gee Liesa no HORSE MEAT or other Blankistan delight :rotfl2:Sounds like you did a fine job of spur of the momeent meal planning !!:thumbsup2

Nope, no horse meat, but I did have plenty of curd balls left. Maybe instead of the 2 gourmet cheeses I had bought that I put out, I should have offered some of those. :confused3:lmao:

All my old vinyl albums are in the basement. I originally typed that, then deleted it...but you were all over it! :rotfl2:

I thought so. My dad, who is a MAJOR hi-fi (as in he actually goes to the hi-fidelity conferences) buff got rid of his albums about 10 years ago, and went all digi. I think he's going to be sorry.

In my basement shrine area, I have a complete Beatles collection on cassette, a set of Disney pins issued in 1985, exclusive to CMs, and several boxes of photos from high school. Somewhere, there are even photos from my Sophomore years European tour.... Man, I want to find those!

Two classics that belong in the DISQuote Hall of Fame! :thumbsup2
What the heck is an ALBUM? :confused3 Man you must be OLD!!!! :lmao:

Good Morning, Marv!!

Perfect, Kat. Just perfect! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

And a good afternoon to you DOOFUS Leisa. Love you!

And to you as well... we just had a bird crash into our big picture window, and we think the poor little creature just broke its wing. Mikki is out there holding it, but it sure isn't looking good. I hate when my day starts out like that. :guilty:

Oh, I don't like to hear that...that is too sad. And Sophia lost one of her cats today. Not a good animal day thus far. :sad2:

And AAAAACKKKKKK it right on moving smilies....or more like ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

:lmao:

Why do they DO that?!!

Great. Now all day I'll be singing, "my bologna has a first name..." :lmao:

You could always go with, "It's the REE--EALLL thing".

Good point! She coulda whipped out some horse meat sausages and they would've said, "don't go to any trouble....we just ate."

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I did have some 'Lil Smokies.... Never know what's in those. :lmao:

i think im going to try that sometime, just show up at a friend/relative house and say were here for dinner, and make it seem like we talked about it and they invited us over.
:thumbsup2

Horse sausages for you, Dan! :lmao:

Liesa, you crack me up! Good thing you knew how to whip up a meal fast!!! I'm sure by the time you were eating, everyone was getting pretty interesting if you guys were drinking wine!?!

You should have seen my act of heroism!! I asked the 2 big boys to put the leaves into the table, and my little guy runs over and starts putting the table end down. He didn't see the 3 bottles of wine sitting there, 2 of which were on the part on the wrong side of the fold down. THey went sliding off, but at the last second I leaped over (after a glass and a half!) and grabbed them- preventing a serious aisle spill.

HE JUST FLEW AWAY. The guy who is taking the van into get looked at - (bad transmission) came in for a few; we were showing him the bird and he flew off Mik's hand in the house. We scooped him back up and let him go outside, and he made it to the nearest tree. Hope he makes it.

Hi Liesa, I am so glad that the bird did fly away! I hope he will be alright. :goodvibes

Of course I can post pictures of my efforts. But that means that I have to start them first. The bag project in its first incarnation stopped after the second bag. So I did not really have to many that I needed to get rid of. One I used myself and the other I gave to Katharina. Mine was used so much that it started to disintegrate, I think the fabric was too soft for the handles. Katharina still has hers I think. So once I get started, I will first make one for myself and then a new one for Katharina as well. After that I thought they would make good gift wrappers which can afterwards be used... Hmmm, I might actually make some with a christmas theme, that would be a neat idea!! :goodvibes

I can just see that playing out now...in slow motion! Like, "Noooooooooooooooooo!" as you dive.

Or you could borrow Tim's whip. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I am so glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read this. Like I said before, Tim really knows how to work that thing. ;)

Good afternoon Liesa! ;)

Hey, I can whip one up fast too. All it takes is a good supply of wooden spoons! (just ask Rosie) :lmao:

So you're saying you have a nice collection- each for a different purpose?

Me too. He was an adorable little towhee.

YOu know, I have great intentions when going shopping to use the re-usable bags, but I always get there to the store, and realize they are sitting by my front door. :sad2: I guess something that's going to get constant use needs to be made from a heavy fabric. Yes, definitely, you need to go with a Christmas fabric for gifting. FUN!

Or you could borrow Tim's whip. :rotfl:

Are you sure he's willing to lend it out?

Happy to drag you all down with me. :lmao: But Liesa started it. ;)

Suddenly I feel five again! :rotfl2:

:lmao:

I confess, I was feeling rather nostalgic when I instigated this. A little Tony Tiger-ish, in fact.

I can just see that playing out now...in slow motion! Like, "Noooooooooooooooooo!" as you dive.

I wish I had a video of it; it was spectacular!!

:lmao:

My daughter is pretty sure he says that when Padme dies. YES???
