I tried to post a reply to this last night but must have done something wrong 'cuz it wasn't there today.
I remember you had designated scents for your different resorts. I don't remember which one was citrusy though.
And do you not absolutley adore how pitiful Max is?![]()
Ok, I'm all caught up, but I had to do it the way where I just clicked on your bookmarks and read each chapter, not all the in between, and I fear I missed some things because one of your posts said something about a job you didn't get. But I didn't read where you applied for a job.
Anyhow, WOW what drama your trip started out with, but glad that everything worked out with the egg stamp. Yikes about everyone getting sick, but glad everyone was well enough for your meet. The buildings, art, etc are breath taking. What fun tours and museums and things you visited.
Great souvies. And I would have been in that bakery every day, yummo. The pretzels had me drooling from several different posts/pictures.
Can't wait to see what happens next...
Liesa DO NOT give him ideas !!!!![]()

Oooooooooooooh, that was some seriously amazing stealth ninja posting RIGHT THERE, Tanya!!Nice technique!
YES! You got it right! That lotion was a double whammy for the "scents of my trip". Mint was for POR, and Grapefruit was from the POP!! (Citrus) I have that lotion in my purse and use it almost everyday.![]()
He just decided that he won't be joining us for THanksgiving unless he doesn't have to spend the night- which puts a burden on us.... that means we have to drive up the Mt. Hood and back in one day, AND 24 hours with cousins we see MAYBE once a year will be cut out. I'm sad, but you do what you have to do.
Their tests went GREAT today!! They passed with great marks, and a fun surprise for them was the board breaking. Mikki is known around her club for her HARD kicks, so they gave her an 8 mm board to break. Although it took her a few times she did it. And it took two Masters to hold it. THey are very proud of their brand new yellow belts!!!
I hate when that happens!! But I was on last night too when they went down, but I pushed refresh for a while, and lo and behold it was UP again in about only 6 or so minutes. I think they only mix up the smilies sometimes.
I'm almost sure that's all they do!
I"m sure I'll have my fair share of tasting after we move. I"ll have to let you know what becomes a favorite.
Please do, I'm soooo looking forward to someone helping me learn more in this area.
I hope so! I really want my parents to have a nice time, so they'll be comfortable coming back to Oregon a lot.
I'm sure they will.
THat's a set up for a shocking engagement.
Me, too. Gets me every time all the Whos down in Whoville start singing. I'm a sucker.![]()
La, la, la, la,
La, la, la, la....
I suddenly have a craving for Roast Beast!![]()
I can't believe you all are talking about this!
I've literally been humming the song the Who's sing down in Whoville almost all day. How strange is that?!?![]()

[COLOR="purple"]I don't know why I found this to sound so funny but it did. I think I envisioned someone walking along and then all of a sudden a jolt, like being struck by lightening and shooting off a few electrical currents.
ZZZZT!

No time to get to all the replies, but Glenn, I think the "B" is really an "S". Unless I'm totally cuckoo, and misunderstood what I think I was told once.
I thought you would be the one to catch that one.
My dad was stationed in Germany when they met. I have a feeling that the union may have something to do with getting her out of Germany as the wall went up.

I think in the 60s it was quite comon for German girls to marry Americans who were stationed here. Two of my mother's sisters did that, that's why I have one aunt in California and one in Nebraska. And it still happens, a friend of mine has a sister who married an American whom she met while he was here with the military.
And your second guess is right!! Your post reminded me of a story my mother loves to tell: When we were on vacation in England we were staying in a vacation house. So, she was cooking herself and therefore had to do grocery shopping. She really wanted to buy some ground meet, but then did not buy any, because she was appaled to find out that there was only seasoned ground meat available: She thought there was mint in because it was labled "minced meat".
And then there are mince meat pies - which have neither mint nor meat in them. A very confusing word this is in English!!![]()
We interrupt this trip report for something I thought was an absolutle a must read for anyone who is actually more than casually interested in what my former life was like in Kazakhstan. If you truly want an in depth peek into one of the holidays they just finished celebrating take a look. But BEWARE!! It is VERY, VERY graphic. Our family has seen a sheep sacrifice, and eaten the delicious national dish called beshbarmak a million times. I think this will certainly enlarge your worldview a bit...

I (again) do not have a guess for the letter game. I'm so lame at this. Are the rest of you just really smart, or do you hunting for this stuff?
Anybody else see Harry Potter this weekend?
Q.... uietly now!!! But quick, quick, quick!!!! This quirky game is moving along, and now it's time to guess where letter Q comes from.... Somewhere in the World you'll find this:

I can't seem to keep control of my inbox these days, so please go ahead and white out your answers here on the thread.
Good luck!
