Camille that is quite a story! Good thing those boys didn't see them in your purse or falling out in the hallway. You would have had to change schools!:rotfl2:

Camille, I don't know what you bribed or threatened her with, but thank you!

Liesa, you know you love green and yellow! :rotfl2:

She put this out there because I had up My Aggies icon's and Gig Em Aggies stuff up. :goodvibes It was the cotton bowl so I was showing some team spirit. We lost any way. :guilty:

OH MY! :lmao: The shirt-LESS story had me laughing out loud! HILARIOUS! What a way to start the trip!!! Obviously not the shy type.

What a great location at 50's! I love the view, so peaceful and pretty.

Very fun car pick Maroo!

Which Section of POP will we stay in??

The answer, of course, was the 50's, where we had a great view- in more ways that one- :sad2:

Eh, hem....

Those of you who answered correctly were:

Tim, Marv, TrayRene, Brook, Rosie and Jenbear!!

WOOT!!

I crack myself up-----

Not only do I quote myself, but I just realized, I go OUT the door with no key, and IN the door with

NO shirt!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

:rotfl: Love it!!!

I know, right?!? :rotfl: How are you Ms. Pat? It's been a while. Did you have a good Christmas?

I am doing great. Christmas was nice but I am glad all the holiday hoopla is over for once. I feel like it snuck up on me.

I thought I did comment on this but I can't find it.

Since when is Lime Green VW bug a mid size car????:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Camille your story reminds me of an embarassing moment as a kid !!!!In the local park which was quite a large place , they had scaffolding up for a HUGE reenactment of the towns history and being the Tom Boy that I was I had to climb it !!:scared1:Well my skirt got caught on the scaffolding and I dangled there with undies exposed to all :lmao:Of course the boys I was playong with did nothing to help me just called out for everyone to come see my "Knickers" :rotfl2: I was mortified !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Wow, I can't believe how many pages I had to go back to get caught up on your thread Liesa! :scared1: I missed a whole lot of fun around here I see! I think I just spent the last hour and a half catching up!

No, I think I redeemed myself with the mob smiley on Marv's thread.
Definitely a pretty good effort! I was so traumatized I'm not sure I can go back over there to do my TR now..... :rolleyes1
Oh my goodness. I have such an upset tummy right now from doing this: :rotfl: That is one of the BEST stories I have ever read (Marv, I want to see you or Rosie top that one).
I'm not sure I would want to see Rosie trying to top that one! :rotfl2:
A belly laugh a day keeps the doctor away.... just doing our part to keep America healthy. :dance3:

Marv and Rosie are both strangely absent. I know Marv is still settling in, but Rosie?? Must be working extra hours this week.
Okay, now I'm all caught up and ready to jump back into the fray! As for the shirt story Liesa, I would have just yanked mine off too so you wouldn't feel self conscious......but then you might have been the one who was speechless!!! :lmao: At least we know now if you have to go through the TSA extra search procedures, you already have the necessary skills! :rotfl2: Once you got the feet comments at the gate, I guess you have to push that envelope now....;)
She is feeling some better. Today was a traumatic experience at the doctors. Juliana needed a step test which she refused. We ended up having to have 4 people hold her down to get the test where she could of just opened her mouth for 2 sec. She was screaming so hard that she busted blood vessels through her face, forehead, and neck. It looked like she had freckles for about 5 hours. I think she cried for about an hour and a half after the appointment. Needless to say we were all a little shaken up this morning. :sad2:
Terrible story Tim! So glad Princess Ana got through it and is doing better.
I think you did GREAT !!!I got a point !!!!!:banana::banana:So I wont be pointless !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Only your comments will ever be considered pointless Rosie!!! :rotfl:

And so the story of how Rosie's pole dancing started is clearly revealed to the world!!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Leave it to you Marv to make the connection However I am not planning on climbing any scaffolding at Disney even with a Pig !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

that is just out and out :rotfl2:

I can only imagine the expression on your face Maroo!

Sweet ride.

And tomorrow is OUR big day. Of course, I'll be driving back up to Portland to face our last week there. More on that in a bit....

I think things went better from here on out. We had plenty more laughs since then!! Nope, never been accused of being shy- maybe that is what accounts for my high post count too. :rolleyes1

No kidding- I could barely get my cute big fat toe in there- maroo didn't tell you the first time I drove it, I couldn't start it! COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT!!! Something about the brake, or I don't remember, but I remember having to go find her, and ask her how to start it. :headache:

2 Stories, since we're doing those:

1) I was at a 50's dance at univeristy in my freshman year, and was dancing a jitterbug style dance. My partner did the move where he swung my under his legs and scooped my back up; unfortunately my poodle skirt stayed under his shoe, and I came up with a beautiful pair of undies showing for everyone's observation.

2) I was working in a Dillards department store in Flagstaff (this time my senior year) and came out of the ladies' room...... Suddenly, I hear someone hissing at me from behind, saying, "Hey, HEY!! You're skirt!!! YOU'RE SKIRT!!" It was a fabulous looking guy who worked on the freight dock who happened to be the first to see my butt completely exposed because my skirt was 100% tucked up inside my hose. I dashed inside one of those round display racks full of kids' pJ's to "fix" myself up, but unfortunately there was little to be done to fix my damaged ego!!! I wanted to crawl home and die!

Wow, I can't believe how many pages I had to go back to get caught up on your thread Liesa! :scared1: I missed a whole lot of fun around here I see! I think I just spent the last hour and a half catching up!

Glad you're home safe and sound!! I haven't been on AT ALL the last 2 days because of the move (Dad out, and us in), so I fear I have at least that much catch up to do here tonight.

Sometimes I hear of these people who strip to make a statement. They are my heroes. But I don't think I could ever follow through....:guilty: I'm too chicken.

that is just out and out :rotfl2:

I can only imagine the expression on your face Maroo!

Sweet ride.

It was worse than a reality TV thing.

Hello Friends!!!

Phew, what a whirlwind moving can be!! Coupled with it being a Ball weekend, we are exhuasted to the core. Not only is the physical work of moving difficult, but the emotional strain of seeing boxes everywhere tough to bear as well. Especially for someone who really loves order and beauty!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know I am alive and well, and swimming uphill against a pretty stiff current. Hopefully, I can take some time to catch up with everyone's threads tonight as I sit here by my new woodstove all cozy like! Maybe I can even find a few photos from some friends' Facebook places and post a few of our elegant night last night!! It was SO fun!!

We thought she was doing better but she just woke up with a 102.4 fever. UGH.

Oh no, tim!! Are you going to take her in?? She's been sick for a while now.

Thanks. I finally had to just tell myself to STOP putting stuff away, and cleaning. I really needed a break- and a hot bath. Hmmm... now where's that bubble bath??

Gee the skirt caught up in your undies or hose reminds me of DC!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:As I recall calamity was averted by Jaimie !!!!!:banana:

She was at the doctors 2 times last week. We will wait to see what is going on in the a.m. If she goes tomorrow, I know bloodwork will be involved. They don't take any chances with her.

Sounds lovely! Hope you have time to take that break! :cloud9:

Thought some of you might be interested in seeing a few pictures from last night's ball. The theme was a post-Christmas Ball, and most were not in Regency Period costuming, but rather just formalwear. As usua,l we had a marvelous time dancing the night away to English Country Dancing numbers- my feet are still aching!!

I was hoping my brother-in-law would have posted the closeups he took of us from before we left on FB, but hasn't yet. When he does, I'll post those too.

OMG!!! I do believe you're right!! wasn't that coming out of the porta potty?? If so, I have a good excuse- there's about enough room to "do business" in there as a gopher hole would.

I thought it might- poor baby!! I remember you saying months ago about how seriously they take stuff with her. I will think about her tomorrow if you need to take her. Let us know!
