Well, hello Friends!
I'm back from a wonderful week of Disney fun, and I have so much to share. However...
Tragedy struck.
I had taken my laptop for the conference and had it transferred by Bell Services from Coronado Springs to Jambo House. Unfortunately, it was somehow destroyed. Whether they dropped it, loaded stuff on top of it... I don't know. But it's smooshed and no longer usable. At all. They corner where the charging port goes is bent so that I cannot charge it.
I now get the pleasure of finding my receipt from Dell, getting repair estimates, taking photos of the damage, etc... and getting it all sent in to their Claims Dept for a POSSIBLE reimbursement. It's going to take time. Possibly up to a month. Meantime, I will shop for a new laptop as I will need one whether Disney reimburses or not. On top of that, it's going to take a while to get my programs loaded and all of my files and data transferred over.
I DO have an OLD laptop that might work for getting a trip report chapter done, but.... even that may be a bit.
