I have seen several post on this board with people getting confused on the attire for dining, especially the 7 day cruise. The 4 day is simple, Casual in Animators, Parrot Cay and jacket recommended in Lumieres with one formal night. If I remember correctly.

On the 7 day the restaurants all have their theme but the dining nights also have a theme. What your will experience regardless of your dining rotation is this: 2 formal nights, 1 fancy(jacket), 1 tropical night, and 3 casual nights. Even the menu is the same in all resaurants on the themed nights. You will only get to see the show in Animators 1 night.

We have had the rotation of LAPLAPL the last 3 cruises. Our formal night is never in Lumieres and the last night of cruising is our fancy night in Lumieres. It does feel a little odd to be all decked out in the casual restaurants but that is how our rotation falls. Also keep in mind that the first night is casual because there will be a few people or maybe a lot who don't have their luggage so you could even see shorts. I know because it happened to us on our January cruise this year!

Ladies, you will see every type of dress on formal night. On casual nights I saw capris, slacks, skirts & sundresses. Men, you will see suits, to sport coats to suits on formal nights. On casual nights, docker sytle pants, polos to short sleeve button dress shirts and a lot of nice looking tropical shirts.

I hope this helps. Kathy
