The " 6 weeks from now" Gas Poll

Six weeks from now, gas will be.....

  • about the same price

  • slightly higher

  • a whole lot higher

  • a little less expensive

  • a lot less expensive

Results are only viewable after voting.
Maybe this is just wishful thinking... but I think that the gas prices should be back to where they were before Katrina.

I voted for alot less expensive. Already down $0.30 in the past 4 days here in Bristol. I'm thinking in 6 weeks, it will be down another $0.70.

I hope it's down but I voted a little more expensive.

I think so too. Not only will the pipelines be up, but the holidays will be over (I think gas ALWAYS goes up for Labor Day) I hope I'm right :)

I think a little less expensive too. Hopefully, alot, but it was going up because of a holiday anyway. It always goes up because of holidays.

I voted a little less expensive. I don't see these high prices lasting and they are already down a little in my area from midweek. I paid $3.20/gal today for Plus because the station was out of Regular (3.09) and I really needed gas. Almost $60 to fill my minivan, ouch!!!

I am hanging onto my 1/2 tank for as long as possible. Gas is around $3.20 for regular, give or take a few cents, depending on where. It may go up for a few more days, but I think after Labor day it will go down to pre-Katrina prices. I hope I'm right... :confused3 but who knows??

I voted a lot less, but even a little less will be OK with me. I'm just hopeful since before this storm they were saying things would go down after Labor Day. Shoot, at the start of August it was $2.06!

I voted for a little less, but hopefully it will be a lot less. What I wouldn't give for that $1.33 price range of last year!

Your right, they do go up for Labor Day, Memorial day and July 4th weekends. This time was a double whammy but they've went from 3.09 down to 2.89 here so after the holiday weekend we should see a few cents more....that would put it close to the 2.55-2.65 it was at before.

We leave for Disney on Wed. I'm going even if it stays at 3 bucks.....can't wait.

We paid 2.69 a gal today in San Antonio. I saw it at another station for 2.55. Most places were charging 2.79-2.89. I think it will go down after the holiday and when the gas lines get back on line.

it dropped from 2.99 reg to 2.89 reg here in about three hours this morning. we went garage saling and as we left the house first station was at 2.99 by time we came back home at lunch it was down to 2.89, and dropped again to 2.85 before we got home tonight.
