Thanks for reading!

Thanks.... I'm still not finished with HS... More to come...
I've never bought a balloon, but I always love to walk past them. They are so fabulous!!!

More to come - Maybe tomorrow.

Tomorrow sure seems longer these days. :lmao: Its almost like the last week before a trip to the world. It takes forever to get here :surfweb: But pretty soon

WooHOO!! JACKPOT!! Your TR was a major lifesaver for me today! I have been so busy and unable to catch up with my favorite TR of all time! Cut to today...I am busy as can be, typing reports out that are due ASAP. Finally I take a break for some lunch and decide to see how your TR is coming along. Just as I'm about to enjoy all the parade pictures I hear a wailing coming from far off. I know that sound. It's the sound of a child coming to my office. I love that they are always crying upon arrival! So the TR was going to have to wait. :headache:

Finally the wailing child arrives. I open my door and it's one of my littlest buddies. Not someone I see for behavioral trouble very often. She's just a little peanut. I opened my door and she looks at me and sobs in a most pitiful manner "I frowed up"...

poor little thing. She wasn't feeling well but she didn't know the nurse in the nurses office and was NOT happy at the prospect of staying there. Somebody suggested that she could wait in my office until her mom arrived. Oh thanks. I get the "frow up" germs!;) Anyhow...into my lap she burrows, wailing like a banshee all the while, and in the process she bumped my desk, which bumped my mouse which brought your beautiful parade pics to the screen. Wailing STOPPED. Suddenly we are smiling and saying "Disney Pawades?!" This is a child who knows Disney. She goes every single year.

So we looked at your Disney "pawade" pics until her mama arrived. Well, we looked for about a minute and a half until she conked out. Either way, it was a scream free, happy little wait for a little peanut who really felt yuck.

THANK YOU!!!:thumbsup2

SUPER fun pics!! I have to admit that the CampbellScot's have gotten a little jaded over the years when it comes to parades and shows. The kids are just too cool for school when it comes to standing still and waving at their favorite characters. I'm a girl who loves a parade, but the OCD/ADD of the other three tends to require a "GO! GO! GO!" mentality. It was fun to see the parades through the eyes of my favorite Texas lady!! :) I can SO see Rae performing and doing the Disney thing all the way!

Thanks again for such a fun report and so many great pics!

is there more?!popcorn::

Slow afternoon at the office so I'm so happy I stumbled upon your trip report. Have thoroughly enjoyed reading it thus far.

I too hope you keep a report going with updates on the move to Florida. My daughter (age 10) keeps telling me she is someday going to move to Florida to work at Disney World. I'm all for it. I'll be ready to move the day after she graduates high school. :)

Sooo…:confused3 have you been super busy packing up and moving?? Is that why we never finished the DHS day??:p

Sooo…:confused3 have you been super busy packing up and moving?? Is that why we never finished the DHS day??:p

:hippie: Good Morning...

My goal in the next few weeks is to get back on this trip report... We had so much fun and I love sharing it with everyone.:yay:

I do have lots to share...

So I'll make a quick post.

Thanks
Carolyn

Hello Everyone,

I'm so sorry I've been missing in action but
I've been so incredibly busy...

I have a few updates to pass on to you guys!!!

1. Our whole plans have changed...
We're not moving to Orlando :sad1::sad1::sad1:
We are so sad about it, but it was Rae's choice. After spending many days and nights talking and talking about it, Rae decided that she just wasn't ready to move to Orlando and audition for parts in musicals and parades at Disney yet. She wants to spend a few more years in dance, threatre and just growing up before she gives it a go.
Although she does plan on applying for the college program!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Which if I understand right it's only for a semister...

2. We did move...
Just across town, but trying to take care of all that crazy stuff has kept me so busy and lots of times no internet...

3. Another change in our plans is that my DH and I, We're changed our travel plans in October, we've decided to go cruising to the Bahamas and Key West instead of spending our vacation in Disney... :sad2: We're sailing on Carnival's new ship Magic out of Galveston. We're really excited about it, but also sad that we're not spending our vacation in the most magical place on earth.

I'm sorry that I haven't had time to finish my trip report, but with moving, graduation and so many other obsticles I haven't had time but now it's all quite... haha, I can get back to writing.
Thanks for following along

More to come...
Sorry It's been so long.

I love a Parade...
I love a Parade... (I know this is an old song of some sort... So, I'm sing this tune in my head...)

Expecially if they are in Disney!!!! I could watch them everyday! The music makes you feel so happy and watching the character interact with children and adults is so much fun.

Disney Does it RIGHT!!!!!

:thumbsup2

After the parade we headed over to...

"The Great Movie Ride"

One of the things I love about taking someone that's never been to Disney is watching their face and how they react to things...

Now TGMR isn't the most exciting ride in Disney, but it's awesome to see all the old MGM films and now some Pixar movies. The ride part is really cool with all the different movie sets but what the girls loved the most was the 5 minute melody of different movies at the end of the ride. They had so much fun holloring out the name of each of the movie clips. They knew them all. :thumbsup2

Now on over to The Muppets...

Right inside we went, but we sat for a good 20 minutes... The girls weren't to excited about watching the Muppets, but I insisted, and of course they just loved it... They laughed and laughed at those 2 old men...

I love this fountain... It's so cute..

296.jpg

We loved Muppets Vision 3-D, and now on to bigger and better things...

Phineas and Ferh...

You would have thought they were 10 year old little girls...

They were so excited to meet them.

Not Belle, Sleeping Beauty, or Cinderella

BUT:

Phineas and Ferh...

So in line we went...
292.jpg

293.jpg

294.jpg

We stood in line for about 20 minutes with very little movement, and then it was time to change out characters...

So guess what the girls decided to do...

Split...

Yes they were out of there.

On to something else...

Very little attention spam... :rotfl:

All day long they had wanted to watch Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular but we hadn't found time in our busy day so the last show of the day was at 5:30... and Rae didn't want to miss it...

So off we went.

Indiana Jones...

Yes, the last show starts at 5:30 and it was 5:20 when we left Phineas & Ferh... At least we were kind of close...

It's time for the fast Disney walking....:lmao:

We made it before the show started but we had to sit on the far left edge... and I mean far edge, at least we were on row 4 from the bottom...

Now I'm not a big fan of Indiana Jones... I know, but it's that suspenseful thing that I just can't stand.

No suspense for this momma...

So the girls loved it and I just kind of sat and watched them enjoy the show.

That's what this trip was all about!!! Doing what the girls wanted to do not what this Momma loved to do.

Leaving Indiana Jones...

297.jpg

After the show. We had RnR FP for 7:05 - 8:05 so we decided that we had better eat something for dinner before we rode RnR.. So we adventured back over to that area and had dinner at Rosie's All American Cafe... We had the huge Cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets with French Fries... love those FF...

Nothing major happened at dinner compared to lunch, but then again, there isn't any doors to go through :confused3

Dinner was ok... Not really what we wanted... We should have tried something else... But everything was really crowded and we just couldn't figure out what we wanted...

Great pictures after dinner.

Tower of Terror
299.jpg

So we decided to head over to RnR for our FP but it wasn't our allotted time yet, so we sat down and decided to wait for our turn...

298.jpg

As we sat waiting our turn, there was the precious little girl walking around with her Nana...

She was adorable... But the funny thing about her was that she wanted to lick the metal drain plate on the ground...

Here's a few pictures...

303.jpg

304.jpg

Nana kept telling her no, no, but she didn't want to listen... She just kept on going... Finally she had to pick her up and then she got so mad... It was so funny...

After our fun adventure with the cute little girl. It was time to ride R&R... so off we went...

Straight to the FP line.

Here we go... blam... not going very far... the FP line was as long as the regular line...

We stood there for a minute and went "Never Mind"!!!

and out we went...

We knew that Fantasmic Show was at 8:30, so we thought we had lots of time to kill, so we decided to head over to Back Lot Tour and on our way over there we passed the entrance to "Fantasmic" and it was PACKED :scared1:

So we decided that we had better just jump in this line and hopefully find a seat to watch the best FireWorks show in DHS...

We followed the crowd for miles and miles...:lmao:

OK!!!

It sure seamed like miles and miles, (Remember, my poor little foot was killing me toooo, so walking wasn't a lot of fun) but we got to the stadium and found us a fabulous seat in the middle section about 20 rows up...

Now we sat down at 7:20 a really long time before the show...

But I will say, I'm very impressed with Disney... They know how to do it right.... Sooooo, of course the Native's we're getting very restless,

but

Disney has hired 2 fabulous entertaining announcer that played Disney Trivia, sang songs, interacted with the crowd and had the audience sing songs along with them. This was the best way to make the time fly by...

They were fabulous... :banana::cool1::banana:

Our course I didn't take any pictures of Fantasmic...

Sorry!

Both of the girls loved the show... It was fabulous. Rae had seen it several times but for Barbra... She was just amazed...

After the show, the park was closing so off we went, back to the parking lot to find Tammy - the tank... We wondered our way out of the park and onto the tram and there she was. Just waiting to carry us back to our resort...

Today had been a fabulous day. All new adventure for Meghan and of course a whole day at Rae's favorite park...

Next up is Magic Kingdom!!!

Thanks
Carolyn

We had looked and looked for Rae something to hold her cell phone and her Key to the World in and I kept looking for something Minnie Mouse Cuties and finally Rae found this little Stitch purse... It was a small over the shoulder purse that worked perfectly for her... Well she has carried this cute Stitch purse everytime she's been to Disney. She loves it...

332.jpg

He took it off her neck!!!

He wouldn't give it back... He wrapped the straps all around his arms...

His keeper was telling him that he had to give it back to the sweet young lady BUT he was shaking his head no...This is my baby Stitch..

334.jpg

335.jpg

In this picture Stitch has taken the strap and put his hands through it and clasped his hands together where it wouldn't come off. He was so funny!!!
336.jpg

Rae finally had to seperate the strap on it... It has a buckle on it...Stitch was very sad that his Stitch baby was gone...

PeopleMovers ride!!!

We spent most of our morning in TomorrowLand and FantasyLand but didn't accomplish lots of ride..

Peter Pan
Space Mountain
People Movers

Boy do we have lots more to do in Magic Kingdom...

But it was lunch time...

Cosmic Ray's

Yummy!!!!

While Meghan and I stood in line for food - We sent Rae to Splash Mountain for FP... (now I think I said on my last few post that we had gotten another FP for Space Mountain, but I was wrong... We got one later in the day)

I like Cosmic Ray's because we could get lots of different things, I had a turkey sandwich, Rae had Chicken... and Meghan had :headache: I can't remember and I didn't write it down or take pictures...

Lunch was yummy. Always nice to have a COKE and something to eat.

Now on to Haunted Mansion.

Time for our FP to Splash Mountain... :dance3:

We we're so excited for SM - but when we got there it was closed. :sad1:

DANG!!! They said, "It's closed down for awhile but come back later and we will honor your FP."... :thumbsup2

So off we went to Pirates of the Caribbean... Yo Ho a Pirates Life for me...

The line was crazy long and boy did we pick the wrong line... and Boy did we wait in line forever... We got in line at 1:30 and finally we're on the ride at 2:10... :lmao:
I think that maybe everytime I've been on this ride, I have never had to wait and wait... But it was well worth the wait... It's such a fun ride. I love singing along to the song..

Yo Ho, Yo Ho. A pirates life for me... :dance3:

Come on sing along with me...
Closer your eyes and maybe you'll feel like your there...

Once off POC it's time for...

DOLE WHIP!!!!!!

389.jpg

YUMMY!!!!

The line for Dole Whips is a little unorganized... It's so hard for me to handle something that's not organize... and this was very disorganize... But then so we're the lines at POC... Usually Disney is really good about this... Oh well... Sorry I didn't mean to complain about the lines... I'm in Disney!!!!

Time for the Parade...

More to come..

Thanks!!!!

I think moving to Orlando was just as much for me as it was for Rae... I really need a new start, but... in time... We will get there.

I'm so excited for this cruise. Rae and I sailed this same Itinerary last year at this time... So when Charlie and I were rearranging our plans to cruise, DH was really wanting to sail to Key West... so I'm so excited to sail to Key West and Bahamas...

Thanks for reading...
