the 3-1-1 rule for airlines?

i havent flown since the newer security measures have been in place. the 3-1-1 rule for liquids and creams, and sprays, ect. is only for carry on baggage, correct? so i can take any size liquids, creams, gels, on my checked baggage, right? thanks

Yes you can take liquids on your checked in bag that’s what I do . Its more hassle free for me and makes things much smoother when flying . You might want to go to http://www.tsa.gov/ to see the exact specifications of sizes. I hope this helps you out.

I'm pretty sure there are only weight restrictions for checked baggage. And I think that that varies by the airline you're flying with, so you'll want to check out their website for that information.

It's weight restrictions for the bags you check in, and some airlines do charge if the bags are over a certain length too.

There is no size restriction for items like shampoo bottles and anything else that would fall under 3-1-1 in carry ons if you put them in your checked in baggage.

the 3-1-1 rule....

each passenger is allowed one quart size ziplock bag with no one liquid container larger than 3 ounces in your carry on bag

there are no liquid restrictions on sizes on what can be in your checked bags
