Starting a thread for "24" challnged folks.... Ask ANYTHING AT ALL. So obviouisly there will be spoilers. Help everybody catch up or understand something they didn't understand.

1. Whatever happened to the woman who worked for President Palmer that fell over the railing? Was it ever reconciled?

2. How did President Palmer actually die? I think I missed a disc of season 4 by accident.

3. Is "Chase" dead"?

I'm sure I'l have more questions soon.

Palmer was assasinated this season within the first 10 minutes by a snipers bullet.

Supposedly not, he just wasn't brought back last season but was with Kim. On tonight's show, Kim said he left her.

#1- Lynne Kresge was never mentioned again, so her story remains unresolved.

#2- Prez Palmer didn't die until Episode 1 of Season 5, so you didn't skip and Season 4 discs.

#3- As mentioned Chase is alive and well, but he left Kim shortly after Kim learned that her dad was "dead."

I love both characters, but glad Edgar was killed over Chloe. IMO, Chloe is one of the greatest characters 24 has had, and one of my favorite characters currently on any tv show. I love her!

Unless something was mentioned in passing and I missed it this is another story that remains unresolved. I believe that President Keeler may have suffered damage that incapacitated him from being president and that he never has been able to fully recover, thats my theory. There is also a chance that he ended up not surviving, but I'm not sure if they ever gave us a definite answer.

Not really a spoiler but I don't want to upset anyone.

OK, in last night's episode the woman (Mrs. Henderson) who Jack shot in the leg was played by..................















JoBeth Williams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea that was her. Lots of chatter about it on Fox's 24 board.

How about what the heck ever happened to Behrooz? He went with the terrorists in exchange for Jack and that was the last we saw of him.

Virgo, yes I knew that was JoBeth Williams. She was in the opening credits. I still can't believe Jack shot her!

In a deleted scene on the Season 4 DVDs it was shown that Behrooz made it back safely to CTU.

There is a possibility that Mike Novick may possibly be bad. We have already seen his "evil" side back in season 2. And something is definitely still fishy with the staff of the president. I still think that Novick (or someone) killed Walt Cummings and made it look like a suicide. If Novick isn't "evil", I would keep a careful eye on the Vice President and/or Secretary Heller when he returns.

I'm adding Spoiler Space because it involves speculation and news for upcoming episodes.............



















Speculation is that Lynn McGill is the character who "makes the ultimate sacrifice" next week.



Also, there is news that in a couple episodes Henderson will try to escape CTU and in doing so ends up killing another character which is said to be SHOCKING. Sounds like Kim, Audrey, and Tony would be the main 3 that would be considered shocking.

D'oh!!! I watched last night and completely forgot I was a week behind and I actually watched the weeks before epsiode that I had tivo'd. I kept reading the posts thinking since I had seen it already nothing would be spoiled for me!!! AHHHHHH! Now I know Edgar died!! Oh well, I keep the secret for DH and I will stop reading this thread so I can't find out anything else!!!!

I love Chloe too. I "did" (do) like Edgar but if someone had to go, oh well. Are they having a budget crunch on the set? Seems like a lot of the cast is getting "offed".

I highly doubt budget is the issue. I think the main things at play are shock value, ratings, and telling a story.
